5 /5 Laura Ferguson: Lovely little walk, baby gators were everywhere. The sun almost melted my face into my skull, but seeing little dinosaurs so comfy in their zone, was awesome and worth it.

5 /5 Ginger Leccese: Beautiful place to visit. We took our children and they enjoyed it too! We saw a snake (on the board walk) and a baby alligator. The picnic area was nice. Bathrooms needed cleaning though! A nice place to go for a short outing. We will definitely visit again.

5 /5 Debra: Great time exploring this beautiful cypress swamp! It borders Moody AFB so we got a treat watching the jets overhead. Nice boardwalk back through the swamp to a tower where you can see the beautiful swamp They also have an education center which is great for kids. There were two buses of elementary school kids enjoying the park today

5 /5 mattison dellinger: No dogs allowed. Stroller friendly. Quick there and back maybe a mile? Large lookout tower!! We love going here, the boardwalk needs a little love from recent storms, but its not bad. Watch out for all kinds of wildlife! Alligators, snakes, frogs!

4 /5 Daniel Victorio: Beautiful place and an easy, family-friendly hike with some cool highlights along the way! The tower and boardwalk is the coolest part! You could walk the whole thing including climbing the tower in 30 minutes or fewer, but you could also spend a whole morning or afternoon just exploring , bird watching, nature observation including a gator sighting if you’re lucky! Plenty of shaded resting areas. My only gripe was a completely full trash can at the end and a few pieces of trash likely brought and left by an inconsiderate or inattentive guest just out of reach over the boardwalk rail. Please please pack it out and LEAVE NO TRACE!

Dahlonega Wine Tours - Dahlonega

Marcy Hammons: From start to finish DSH was easy to work with, they communicated promptly and efficiently. We booked the social tour to celebrate a 60th birthday. Erin was our tour driver and we felt very safe and well taken care of. She explained each stop, offered to take pictures and texted us to let us know when we had 15 minutes left to enjoy each winery. Our favorite stop was Kaya, great music and the best views! We highly recommend the very friendly Erin and DSH wine tours! We had a wonderful girls day out, with delicious wine at fantastic wineries! Hickory Hill historic house museum - Thomson

Tino Velazco: Miss Melinda is the docent that took us on a tour of the Watson home. She greeted us upon arrival and made us feel like she appreciated us being interested in the Watson family history and their home. She is knowledgeable on all things related to Mr. Watson, his family, home construction, and furnishings. Good job Miss Melinda, we appreciate you.

Sweetwater Park - thomson - Thomson

Carl Rathburn: I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. My group was there to play disc golf for the first time at that park and we were pleased.

Fort Frederica National Monument - St Simons Island

Sophia Partin: This is a National Park, don’t forget your stamp book if you’re collecting them. This park has quite the history. This is an old English fort used to fight against the Spanish in the 1700s. The museum has artifacts that have found in the area. They have old tavern games and children toys. It’s interesting to see what life was like only 300 years ago. They have a replica hut that British soldiers lived in. They have plaques along the town streets at most of the homes telling their history. It is worth the read to understand about life in that time. There isn’t much remaining from that period but there are still a few sections standing of the fort. This is a great park for history lovers. I recommend a visit!

Ashantilly Center - Darien

Michele Carter: This hidden gem is very worth a visit. You must arrange for the guided tour in advance by contacting the non-profit organization which runs the property. Harriet is very knowledgeable of the property. She is wonderful at sharing her wealth of knowledge about the property. This lovely house which was lovingly restored by renowned artist Bill Hanes after it was destroyed by fire in the 1930s. Mr. Hanes was a printer who ran the letterpress Ashantilly Press, and his beautiful work is seen everywhere in the house. You can get a personal tour of the printshop and demonstration of the letterpress printing method from Sara the printer. And while the tour is free, your donations will be appreciated, since maintaining and restoring the property takes money!

Clarence Ites: Friendly , kind parishioners, very reverent and attentive to the Eucharist. Excellent homily. They were very orderly when exiting and entering pews.There was no mad rush that you see in some churches. It was easy to pray and meditate, as there was not a lot of unnecessary chatting.

Fort King George State Historic Site - Darien

Debra Prevatte: Interesting little museum, AC felt wonderful. Nice shaded nature trail. The short walk to the Fort isnt shady so the heat & humidity hits hard. Then the biting flies start attacking aka deer flies. Your pace will quicken lol. Great history stop. We enjoyed it.

McIntosh Art Association - Darien

Xyla Dee: Located within the walls of Dariens old jail, is a hidden room of art from students of all ages. There are books featuring a wide range of art platforms. I could truly sit for hours and just soak in the information and impressions of art. Ot is so fascinating to see how humans all interpret emotion so vividly. A very nice surprise finding. Highly recommended trip, and absolutely free to view!
