    Hardman Farm Historic Site
Steve Best: The Hardman Farm main historical buildings site is located at SE entry to Helen across from Indian Mound & old railway Depot bldg. From this side, main parking is Not at red brick bldg, but rather Above & behind site via entry road circling around from adjacent Hwy 17 entry. We accessed, started from Other end via the Hardman Farm Walking Trail. Great easy paved, tree covered walking/hiking path to/from easily accessible historical site. Easily accessible by those with mobility challenges too. We started at the NW end of the Hardman Farm Walking Trail, parking near SE edge of Helen a block off main street, & walked the 0.8 mile trail that parallels the Chattahooche River. At this end just as you cross pedestrian bridge, on your left, barely noticeable are remnants of an old small mine. Continue to right to walk 0.8 mile along the river to the Hardman Farm historical farm buildings. Walked all about the grounds. Red brick bldg serves as shop/museum & offers special docent lead tours (including inside mansion) for a fee $.

    Historic Cromers Mill Covered Bridge
Keegan Donegan: It’s a cool bridge and easily accessible. I love checkin out the old construction of these bridges, like using the wood pegs instead of screws and nails. Cromer’s Mill Covered Bridge isn’t in that bad of shape!
    Sells Mill Park - Hoschton
    Sells Mill Park
Pamela B: Small park with an old mill for a backdrop. Theres not much to do. They do have a playground and a swing set. Also, a pavilion with tables. There are benches staged throughout, so you can watch the water. There is supposedly a walking trail but no signage as to where. I enjoyed walking in the river (not sure if this is allowed), but be careful! Those rocks are very slippery! There are plenty of photo ops...

Fort Yargo State Park - Winder
    Fort Yargo State Park
L Chen: This state park has clean facilities, peaceful lakes and miles of hiking and biking trails. There are camping sites, a beach and boat ramps. The inner loop hiking trail going around the lakes is about seven files. The scenery along the way is very beautiful.
    Barrow County Museum - Winder
    Barrow County Museum
Jared Anton: Lovely place. So much history about the county and interesting even for travelers. The jail is a must-see. This shows you how the history of a small town grows. We highly recommend a visit to this attraction.

Etowah Indian Mounds State Historic Site
Johnnetta J: It was a peaceful and quiet afternoon when I visited. I practically had the entire place to myself aside for a couple other visitors. This allowed for meditation and grounding. I bought some souvenirs to support the museum. There is a river in which they have benches to allow one to sit by the river bank and listen to it roll by. It was a very tranquil experience. I will definitely visit again, hoping to take archery lessons.
