Sells Mill Park - Hoschton (GA)

4 /5 Pamela B: Small park with an old mill for a backdrop. Theres not much to do. They do have a playground and a swing set. Also, a pavilion with tables. There are benches staged throughout, so you can watch the water. There is supposedly a walking trail but no signage as to where. I enjoyed walking in the river (not sure if this is allowed), but be careful! Those rocks are very slippery! There are plenty of photo ops...

4 /5 ME: Great peaceful place! Easy to get down to the water. But the playground is rusty. The stairs are rusty and so are parts holding the slide.

4 /5 Thai Kajangu: Went there for the first time today. We had a good time. The playground is very small so the kids got bored quickly but they found other things to keep them busy. There is a little water faucet to cool down on a hot day such as today. There is also a stream to play in by the water mill. It’s a great place for picnics or just sit and listen to the water. There’s also a small bathroom and paved parking available. It looks like you can roam around in the woods as well, there were no fences to keep you out. We’ll definitely come back during the hot summer days to play by the stream :)

5 /5 Cement Kite: I love this park. I first visited this park during an ice storm (JAN 2025). My visit was non voluntary but this park was my fantastic savior. I was able to get my vehicle off the road and park safely in the parking lot. The parking lot is nicely paved even though it was a sheet of ice. The restroom was clean and heated which was a pleasant surprise being I will probably being sleeping on the floor tonight. Im not sure about the playground, pavilion or the mill itself because its currently 10 pm and 25 degrees. I will definitely plan a future visit to this park under different circumstances. I would like to enjoy a lunch on one of the available picnic tables. I love this park.

5 /5 Seth Sorano: Small park but a beautiful one at that! In front of the parking lot is a playground, swingset, and pavilion. (I dont think that building off to the right is a restroom unfortunately...at least it wasnt marked as such.) On the left and sloping down a rocky hill is quite the picturesque scene: a waterfall flowing over a long stone wall and an old grist mill from the late 1800s. And the sun sets perfectly behind the mill so bring a camera, this is simply amazing...photographers paradise!
