1 /5 DJ Jeff Brown: Two years ago, I visited Alcovy Dental to have my front tooth flipper replaced, which I had unfortunately lost. The replacement flipper came back and fit perfectly, and I was very satisfied with the service. However, recently I encountered an issue where I lost another flipper for the same tooth. Naturally, I returned to Alcovy Dental to have it replaced.
This time, however, I experienced some difficulties as the replacement flipper didnt fit properly. I explained the situation to Dr. Travis Hampton, and to my surprise, he informed me that occasionally these devices dont fit as they are meant to be temporary solutions. Understandably, I was concerned, especially considering that Ive been using a flipper for over 20 years, likely as long as Dr. Travis Hampton has been practicing.
Despite my concerns, Dr. Hampton attempted to adjust the flipper during my initial visit, but unfortunately, it still didnt fit comfortably. Frustrated by the situation, I returned today to express my ongoing issue. However, I was met with an unexpected and unprofessional attitude from Dr. Hampton. His response was dismissive and rude, stating that he had made thousands of these and couldnt see how it could fit any better, suggesting that I simply take a refund and leave.
I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and empathy displayed during my recent interactions with Dr. Hampton. As a patient, I expect to be treated with respect and understanding, especially when dealing with issues affecting my dental health and comfort. The dismissive attitude and lack of willingness to address my concerns have left me feeling dissatisfied with my experience at Alcovy Dental.
I hope that my feedback can contribute to improving the level of patient care at Alcovy Dental, ensuring that all patients are treated with the respect and understanding they deserve.
