Consolidated Gold Mine - Dahlonega (GA)

5 /5 Kris V: WOW! This place is incredible. We took the 1 hour drive over from Blue Ridge, GA and got there at around 3:30pm. We were there in time for the 4:20pm tour and did not regret driving over. Let me tell you. The tour guide (Emily or Amy or other lol I forgot her name) was so "punny" and knowledgeable. I will say to bring a sweater because it is about 55-60 degrees down there. We spent almost twice the time at the gift shop looking over various minerals and jewelry and gems. Lisa was so friendly and informative, she really made our experience extra special. We got a chance to meet the owner as well and he was just as humble and kind as everyone else. This is one experience Im looking forward to doing again and again. Theyre also about to expand the mine and open some areas that were previously closed off. This means we will be back soon! Cant wait! What a cool piece of history here in Georgia!

5 /5 T-bone_Skv: The tour guide had an amazing job. He was the great one. It was my first time exploring gold mine and it was totally worth it!!! This place is amazing. There were a lot of stories to be told and some tools still work which so surprised me. The floor is a little bit slippery, be careful. And a lot of stairs, be ready to walk a lot. They have charms in every corners inside. Worth for visit for sure.

5 /5 Shaun Delise: Loved it. Easy to find and park. Purchase tickets easily with the cashier. Tour started right on time. Friendly, knowledgeable tour guide, Rusty, was informative as well as entertaining. The mine was awesome to walk through. So glad we went.

5 /5 Tina Brower: It’s a fun novelty experience. It was cool going down into the mine. And it is easy enough for someone with mobility issues. With a cane it was doable. Be sure to wear shoes and pants you don’t mind getting dirty. The red clay is wet. But there is grating to walk on so you don’t slip.
