06-2025 NTR statue in Hight rate 14 location for tourist in Cumming, GA, USACheney Griffin Park - Bainbridge Brandon Cummings: This playground has lots of green space, but the playground was extremely dated, with worn, metal exposed pieces. The picnic tables were extremely dirty with trash.
Woodams Christmas Lights - Bainbridge Nhan Tran: Quite a relaxing and memorable site to visit. Located in a neighborhood just outside of Bainbridge. Known by the locals and also known by folks around the tristate area (GA, AL, & FL). Since it is in a neighborhood, you will have to park along the side of the road. Free admission but the family does accept donations which is recommended. As you walk through the displays youll see all of the popular well-known Christmas themes. If you are in the area and at the right time/season, highly recommend making a visit.
Willis Park - Bainbridge Greg Kimball: I spent most of my day recently visiting Bainbridge, GA and when leaving the downtown square which is Willis Park at 105 E Water St, in Bainbridge, GA I stopped and enjoyed some nice time there. Its a very nice park and its well maintained. There is plenty of parking around the park. There are numerous historical artifacts and statues there, very enjoyable.
Bainbridge Boat Basin Park - Bainbridge Gene Carman: Very nice park... well kept. Has paved nature trail, many boat ramps and docks, small boat basin on the Flint river. Wonderful sports complex for baseball, football, soccer, and tennis. Ample parking. And an entertainment open air stage. There is also some camping available.
Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve - Decatur Andrew Demske: Very nicely kept place. This is a great place for birding. Dense forest with loop trail around a nice little pond. There are a couple of photo blinds on the property as well. Nice job, Boy Scouts on the raised path. Cool little gem tucked away in Decatur.
Decatur Square - Decatur Catherine Atkins: There are plenty of eateries, shops, and other businesses in the area. Its a nice place for families to spend time together and relax. The area has changed a lot over the years. It now has paid parking with limited time. I think that makes visiting the area a little challenging. But overall, it is a nice and accommodating place.
DeKalb History Center Museum - Decatur Nagle Tommy (Albion Reid Weddings): Ive loved the weddings Ive photographed here - if you’re on the search for a wedding venue that seamlessly blends history, elegance, and convenience, look no further than the illustrious Historic DeKalb Courthouse. Woodlands Garden - Decatur A Cortez: Really enjoyed the shady, beginner-friendly walking trail. The Fairies in the Garden event going on for October was precious and made our walk extra magical. Don’t miss the live music in the pavilion going on during the weekends.
