They kept her calm, eased her anxiety (along with mine) and made her visit as relaxing as going to the dentist could be. She has to have several procedures done and at the age of 5 told me she cant wait to go back so they can finish helping make her smile pretty again! Amy McCart: Can I rate it a ZERO?!!! My son chipped his front tooth. I called and explained the situation, and though the office close to our house was closed, they said they could get me in the Cumming office. It was an hour drive, but front tooth, so kinda important. Upon arrival (10 min early), when we go back, the technician says, “Oh the Dentist won’t be able to see you today.” I about flipped out. I drove an hour, then waited 45 minutes to see the Dentist, NEVER SAW HER, then had to drive an HOUR HOME!!!!! The technician blamed it on the “call center” booking appointments. I was EXTREMELY upset. Still am super frustrated. Dropping the ball on a LOT of core values on this one!! (See photo!!)

I felt so comfortable knowing my kids were in such great hands. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shannon to anyone looking for top-notch care for their children. This facility is very clean, organized and with many smiling faces on reception! This gives us very positive energy and comfort when interacting with the staff. Always smiling and caring staff! Love this place and folks! Five stars all the way!

Jennifer Holder: I liked Dr. Ryals and the work he did. Unfortunately I will not be going back. It seems like one of his staff is sensitive to fragrance. My appointment was at 1:30pm and as I was leaving, saw my name written on a memo left out on the desk at check out calling me out for my fragrance. (did any other patients see my name written on top of this memo as they were checking out? Was this memo with my name written on it removed after I left?) I work with people every day...the public and my co-workers. No one has ever (and I went and asked specifically) mentioned my fragrance being too much or offensive. And my appt was 6 hours after I applied fragrance that morning. It seems as if this individual is so sensitive that even coming in after your shower and smelling like soap, shampoo or deodorant would be enough to warrant her leaving a note with your name written on it for you at check out. Not in the mood to be chided, humiliated or embarrassed because I dont think I could ever be scent free enough for this sensitive individual. The way this was handled and the way I was treated was appalling. I was a relatively new patient, but had quite a bit of work done, was always on time for my appointments, paid quite a bit of money and paid my bills. I wouldve been a valuable patient for the practice. (ranked 3 stars...5 for Dr. Ryals and his work and 1 star for the issue with his staff comes out to a 3)

DebbieandWill Wilburn: Dr. Melissa Durand has been my dentist for 26 years. She and her staff are great. She has always seen me quickly in situations where I am in pain. I called at 4:00 today and have an appointment tomorrow at 11:00. I have driven all the way from Roswell to Gainesville to see Dr. Durand. This is a family business and not a big conglomerate. They have one office location. I highly recommend this dental practice.
