Kiyana Collins He has good customer service but the skills are not up to par. Just wanted to leave a review to help someone else out. I wasted my time and money with this guy. My car was not fixed it was actually worse. Also every time we were scheduled to meet if would be after hours dark. Was supposed get my car fixed at noon and I waited until 10 pm that night he never showed up and claimed he was still coming after 10 pm. Who in the hell is going to be up past midnight waiting to get a car fixed I have children smh. Ended up taking my car else where to get the job done RIGHT!! Please do not waste your time he clearly takes this as a joke. You’ve been warned. NEVER AGAIN, LESSON LEARNED.

Brian Im not one to write reviews, but I had an amazing experience with this companys tow service and if someone was in my shoes, I would want to know the kind of service involved, as I love and take care of my old vehicle. Simply put, there I was, on one of those Mondays...waiting with my insurance company on the phone, girlfriend, and fresh groceries... for a few hours... for someone to pick up my call.... in front of Walmart... middle of Valdosta... when Kaleb from Dons Body Barn from Douglas called already on the way! We were just outside their service range, but for some odd and fortunate reason for me, they decided to help this outsider out. I saw the truck coming a ways off from its style and paint without my glasses, very professional. Their sweet rig made it a breeze to load up and go. There was plenty of room in this rigs comfy cab. The smooth ride home was the most pleasant part of my day. Kaleb made everything look easy and on the drop off, even got my trucks fuel pump to work again... Anyways, it safe to say I wouldnt hesitate to call this company up again if I was in the same situation again.

Mackenzie Zaytoun Best body shop and tow service in South Georgia! They will pick you up, fix you up, and send you on your way with a smile on your face and still some money in your pocket! Very affordable and reliable! Don makes sure to give the best deal and the best service! Highly highly recommend.

Blake Amos I brought my vehicle here to replace my brake pads and rotors. The parts were replaced. Within the next hour my tire pressure sensor began to fault and not display any numbers. I returned to this location and the technician replied “you want us to pay for something that happened with your car just because we worked on it?.” I am not a mechanic, nor did I request them to “pay” for anything. However I was just hoping that they would be able to rectify the issue since the obvious cause was the repair work. No accountability whatsoever. And I have an out of state commute approaching, but I guess after spending almost $800, once they have your money, it’s out of their hands. I will not be replacing my back brakes with this location. Go to a different location for services. God forbid they make a mistake. Update July 2025: Now none of them read.

Tye Overcharged on my auto work. Tells you one thing is wrong with your car and once he takes the car apart he tells you it needs something else in order for the issue to be fixed increasing the price way more $$$$. Please Beware. Please check out other quotes in the area before getting your car fixed here. I called around after my car was fixed and found out I was quoted $600 more with Mark at Collins Auto shop after my car had already been taking apart. Slick at the mouth con artist. Wants you to feel sad for him by giving you a sad life story about his shop burning down and personal life, and turns around and con people. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND!!!!

Jennifer Rowe Fantastic diagnostic tests to eliminate or illuminate issue prior to fixing vehicle. This takes the guesswork out of the equation and saves time and money, which is passed on to the consumer. Mark and his staff are always honest and trustworthy, unlike many mechanics!

Claude Santana W & W takes care of all my vehicles as well as the rest of my family. Matt and Jesse are great at what they do and very honest. I recommend these fellas to anyone needing vehicle repairs.

A M Put a motor in my truck and it was 100% good to go. No issues at all. Runs perfect. A couple years later still no issues at all. Never had to take it back or ask about anything after the repair.

Jonathan Conner Mr. Richard and Will are awesome. Bought my car in Thursday afternoon. They had gave me a call saying it was ready at 8:30 am today. If you want quality for an affordable price please go to this shop. Mr. Richard is very friendly, nice, and knowledgeable. He and his staff works on all types of cars so do not be afraid to bring your car here. Even if you had prior bad experiences with shady shop or mechanics who lie about what they can or cannot do not be afraid to give this shop a chance. This is the best mechanic and shop in Georgia.

Elaine Williams Richard is a very nice and honest guy. Very good customer service he’s worked on my foreign car for over a year. Definitely will recommend.

Dale Meeks Took car in for A/C work and alternator problems. The didnt fix anything and said it probably computer but I would have to take it somewhere else. Charged me $412. So my advise is to follow there advise and take it somewhere else. They did say they could have charged me more so I guess Im lucky.

John Baker Broke down in big diesel box truck near Douglas Georgia. Showed up at 7:15am (45-minutes before they opened). 5-minutes later, Tracy showed up early for work and assessed my problem before he even walked into the building. Great experience! Highly recommend Lotts!

At 8:00 the next morning Bright Star tire called and said they were waiting on me. In less than 2 hours they had my car ready to go. I have been using Bright Star Tire for over 30 years and this experience was just as good as always.

Daphne and her team were capable and courteous, ordered the necessary parts, made the repair, and I was underway the following day. Their good reputation with Douglas, GA residents seems well deserved.

TheHollowSpirit999 Prompt service with adequate results that did not break the bank! When I took my Nissan Rogue to a different mechanic to try and fix it, he diagnosed the issue but recommended two different places as he wasnt too confident he could work on a Nissan. Northside was one of those choices and Im glad we chose them. I will be sure to use them in the future!

Brenden Myers Lamar and crew really took care of me on short notice. They got my vehicle in quickly, diagnosed the issue, and provided me a fair quote. They even had it ready the same day. I definitely recommend using ABS!

David Sims ABS responded quickly and picked up our car on I-20 with no issues. Their rate was very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Emily Hilton I’ve been taking my vehicle to Douglas County Auto Care for years and I can’t recommend them highly enough. The staff is knowledgeable, honest, and always willing to explain what needs to be done without pushing unnecessary services. They’ve helped me with everything from routine oil changes, tires, brakes, to diagnosing a check engine light issue. Their service is efficient and fairly priced especially in comparison to the quotes I’ve been given from the dealership. If you’re looking for a reliable, trustworthy auto repair shop in the area, they should be your go-to.

Kaitlyn My car broke down last Friday and AAA towed it to this mechanic for me. I filled out the slip for the key drop box and I checked yes on the section where it asked if I wanted my old parts (this comes into play later) I called often, asking for updates, and they finally told me what they suspected was wrong with my car just a few hours before they closed on Monday. Over the phone, I was told that it would be $350 to replace my timing belt and I was required to make a $297 deposit before they began working on my car. I made the deposit and they replaced the timing belt the next day. Somehow, my starter broke in the process and I was told that that would be an extra $390. This required no deposit. They told me they would have my car ready early the next morning, but I called the next day and was told it wouldn’t be ready until noon and that they would call me when it was actually ready. They never called me. I called back around 1-2 and they said I could come pick it up whenever (it’s frustrating because I didn’t receive a call like they said I would). When I went to pay my bill and pick up my car, my total was almost $300 more than I was told it would be! Looking at the receipt, the quote doesn’t match up with the price I paid at all. It wasn’t a mistake of leaving out the labor cost, because the cost of the parts did not even match what I was initially told. I asked if they had taken off the down payment I had made earlier and they had. My total was still just $300 more than I was told it would be. They straight up lied to me. Also, when I asked for the old parts, they didn’t even have them. I asked the employee up front and he told me that they had to ship my starter off somewhere and he literally said “The timing belt is in the dumpster”. It’s so frustrating to be in a vulnerable position and have somebody take advantage of that. I’m giving two stars because at the very least, my car is running now. I would recommend getting a second opinion before paying here because you don’t know what the actual price is going to be.
