Boo Radley I took my 6.0 Powerstroke Ford in for a couple of minor repairs. D&C had my truck repaired in less than a day. Dalton talked me through several things i could do to improve the longevity of my truck’s life. I was very impressed with his knowledge and the price was fair. What I appreciate more than anything was his honesty. He wants to repairs to last, not just a band aid fix. I highly recommend D&C for auto repairs.

Umang Dolly I brought my dad’s car to this repair shop and had a great experience. The staff was very nice and professional. They didn’t try to upsell or suggest any unnecessary work—just focused on what was actually important for the car. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming, it really feels like a family-run place. V2P Z71 Hands down most trustworthy shop I have used. Tommy and Jay are the best ! Rebuilt both my Z71’s trans and transfer case and they have lasted over 2 years towing so this is an after review. I will always use them for my transmission needs !

Matthew Stewart Tommy at cumming transmission has been one of the most helpful mechanics Ive ever worked with. I had to have my vehicle towed to his shop to find out what was wrong with it. Not only did he do a free diagnostic, when we realized that the vehicle wasnt worth putting a new transmission in it he bent over backwards to help me in every way he could. Ill never use another mechanic again. Tommy and his crew are some of the best Ive ever worked with.

Mark Crockett Visiting family in oakwood from out of town. Engine leaked a bunch of coolant and overheated. Victor Gomez had the only shop in Gainesville open on July 4th and was highly responsive. I told him I would try to get my vehicle towed to the shop and when it had been a couple hours and my car was not there, he called me to verify that I was coming. Met him on Saturday morning with the vehicle at the shop and he was very forthright about what he would do to diagnose the problem. I got a good reassurance I see that he takes care of his customers and does honest business. He deals honestly with people despite them not being locals. Sent me a video of the diagnosis and symptoms. He ended up needing to replace the water pump and he provided multiple options for repair to help save money and have a better warranty option on the parts. He kept constant communication with me throughout the repairs and got them done in the same day. Would highly recommend him to anyone needing a trustworthy mechanic.

O Jay I was referred to Automotive Gomez from another mechanic to change my catalytic converter. The owner Victor was very professional and explained everything to me. While he was changing my catalytic converter, he noticed an issue from previous work that in turn, caused another issue that wouldve been detrimental for me in the near future. He called me and told me about it and was able to fix that for me as well. Victor kept me informed on everything that was happening with my car and the work was completed all in one day. I now have a reliable, honest mechanic Thank you Victor for your great work and professionalism.

Concerned Consumer I dont see how they have good reviews unless they paid "customers" for them. They use the cheapest parts and amateur labor, just so you can continue to return. If you give them business, youve been warned. Have fun with the headache youll have to get your car fixed correctly.

Dana Dyche Now that I have found this place, I will never use anyone else. They do a great job. They are professional and polite. They keep you updated and let you know exactly what to expect. They take care of anything that isn’t just right. Very trustworthy business in a not so trustworthy world.

Shawn Kirkaldy I’ve been to this establishment several times for oil changes and wipers. Great service. Today I came into this business today with A/C issues and needing breaks and rotors replaced. Expected to “get got” with pricing and add-ons with A/C and breaks. Both James and Ali took exceptional care of me with pricing and transparency with what was needed to be fixed. Quick service, winter cool waiting area, and customer service was excellent. This is a dope local auto shop with a reputable staff and clean establishment.

Aiden Jumbo I got my brake pads and rotors changed here and they did a great job! Dealer quoted me a high price but here it was reasonable and efficient. Showed me my old brake pads and rotors after they took them off and the new ones to make sure they were quality. Would definitely recommend!

Tina A. Doyle I just relocated to Georgia and needed car maintenance. I chose United Auto car due to its ratings. My appointment was set timely and the staff are so polite and they tell you everything they need to do so that you know ahead of time. If they find that your car needs additional al work they call you to let you know in order to get your approval or not. I have never gone to a place as personable, yet so polite and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job and I will definitely go only to them for future car concerns. EXCELLENT!

Julia Padgett I wish I could put zero stars. I paid $6,000 to have a refurbished engine put in my son’s truck. It didn’t even last 2 months. They claimed it wasn’t being covered under warranty bc it over heated. Yeah it over heated because of a failed engine. Cylinder 2. They said the tabs that are glued on were off claiming that means it over heated. Nobody can prove the tabs were still on this engine when put in (this wasn’t a new engine) or these scam artists could have taken the tabs off so they wouldn’t have to do the work. They said there was nothing they could do and I can pay to have them fix or pay for a new engine. They were not willing to make this right and I was left with being out $6,000 and an engine that failed within 2 months. Shame on them my son needed this truck for his senior year so he could drive part of the day for an automotive program. I sure hope my sons become a better man than these people who scammed us out of $6,000 for an engine not lasting 2 months. Luckily a General Motors rep heard this story and called my son to tell them an anonymous donor will be taking over the costs to get him back in his truck so he can finish out his senior year to get him going in his career path. God bless the secret donor and they were not about to have this company who took our money to do the work. I am beyond blessed for whoever this anonymous donor is.r

Avery Withrow I wish it were possible to give more than 5 stars. On a Thursday, I had a new aftermarket exhaust delivered for my new 2025 C8 corvette. I found Pablo on google and gave them a call and asked if they could fit me in on Saturday knowing it’s roughly a 5 hour install. They said definitely. I arrived and was instantly met by Pablo the owner who was incredibly friendly and even gave me a local breakfast spot recommendation while I waited on the work to be completed. 5 hours later, the work was done and me, Pablo, and his workers were all goofily grinning when we heard the exhaust for the first time. It’s obvious these guys are passionate about their work and you could see their own happiness with the result. They even gave me a rate discount which I did not expect. I’m sure I’ll be modifying this vehicle more over the coming months, and I know where I’ll be bringing it. A+ staff, knowledge, pricing, quality, and just overall friendliness. Pablo seems like the kind of guy you’d want to get a beer with. So glad I found them!

I was very stressed out with my car this morning, not knowing what I needed to do or how much it would cost. Although he could not help me with my car issue he called other places nearby and even re-diagnosed my car after I had it done at autozone. Very, very professional and genuinely nice guy. Thank you!

Thioro I recently had my car’s cooling system repaired and an oil change done by Omar, and I’m very pleased with the service. Quickly diagnosed the issue with the cooling system, and got everything working smoothly again. The oil change was done efficiently as well. Alaine Carrello I brought my car there for my tire, which was low on air and to have the brakes checked. Although they were busy, I only waited about 15 minutes and found out I had a nail in my tire and my brakes were fine. They plugged the tire and told me, no charge. The few times Ive been there have always been a good experience. I appreciate their honesty and that they value your time. Thank you, Bruce and team!

Patrick Stone I brought my car in to have the AC fixed in this heat. Every other place I have brought it to quoted me between $1200-$2000 to fix it. These guys got it fixed for $175 same day turn around!!! This shop is run by good honest people. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Kaypri Acts Cant say enough about this place! My car is nearly 20 years old in great condition. Any time I bring it here i know my car is in good honest hands. No upcharging. No B.S. (No waiting room.) Good Work guaranteed. They only take limited # of cars per day so arrive early and get your place in line. Within a few hours you get a thorough text with whats going on and a choice to approve work --or not. Motor City has been a God Send! (Limited hours Sat closed Monday.) P.S. Call them first if you are a first timer to make sure your car is a good fit.

Joe Winter I needed a reliable and honest mechanic to do an alternator replacement for my Son. We called another Mobile Mechanic in the area who did not pick up the phone and did not call back. Called George at Mini Boss and he picked up right away said that he was booked but would try to fit us in before the end of the day. His communication was excellent and he did exactly what he said he would do and in a shorter time frame than I thought possible. Absolute excellent experience and he even took photos of his work. Could not be more satisfied!

Watching him work was pure magic—knowledgeable, efficient, and equipped with all the latest tech. He can handle any modern issue and knows how to fix cars of any year (though he focuses on post-2000 models). Gerardo diagnosed issues with two different cars in under five minutes and fixed both within an hour—truly impressive! If you need a mechanic, give him a call. And be nice—he’s the real deal!

Eric Ganison Kelby is truly an honest and genuine mechanic. I shopped around at multiple mechanic shops to get pricing on having my rotors and brake pads replaced for my Tesla model S. The rate from other mechanics were through the roof! I found Kelby Mobile Service on Google. He was completely straightforward with his rate, no hidden fees, and was very honest about the quality of parts to put on my car. A very friendly and personable guy. He’s extremely knowledgeable about cars. From here out here will be on speed dial. He’ll be the first person I call with any further work or repairs that I will need done on my car..

Will Moring He came out about a month ago and replaced both of my front end tie rods in about an hour! My car was drifting all the way to the left and once he worked his magic, it was perfectly straight. He informed me that I would need an alignment even if I thought it was fixed just to be sure but never pressured me into going anywhere specific. Hes super friendly and efficient and great at teaching if youre willing to learn. His apprentice was super cool and knowledgeable as well. I would totally recommend them to anyone in need of a dependable mobile mechanic! Thank you Kelby and sorry for the late review!
