You got to try this Jamaican & Soul Food - Decatur (GA)

5 /5 Kay B: Recently tried this spot over the weekend after craving some Jamaican food. I’m glad I picked this place because the food was amazing!! I ordered jerk chicken with cabbage and mac & cheese also tried some oxtails with rice & peas, plantains, and a side of collard greens. Their mango lemonade was delicious too. The food was cooked extremely well and you can tell it was freshly cooked. The meats were very moist and nothing was dried out. It was very clean inside and the staff in the front were nice and patient while I decided on what to ordered. They will show you your entire order when bagging so I was sure I received everything I ordered and so made sure I had my utensils as well. I’m definitely coming back.

5 /5 Johan Cruz: I tried this place for lunch and I am glad I made the trip. Their service was friendly and answered my questions about possible options to get. I went with the jerk ribs rice & peas cabbage and a side of plantains. The only thing that was left were the bones. Sure enough some of that sauce was on my shirt. If you pick up the ribs with your hands just be ready to catch them with your plate. They fall off the bone type of ribs. There was some bbq sauce but blended well with the season. The cabbage was seasoned and tasted freshly cooked. Lets talk about the plantains. Perfectly cut and cooked. I cant even get that can of plantain quality in a Spanish restaurant. Best I have had. They do have a lunch special and plenty of side options. My only regret is not trying their juice. Next time I am trying the jerk chicken and stew.

1 /5 Kurtis Anderson: I been hearing about this place on IG and looked on Google and it had good ratings. So I decided to try it. I went on there it was a Lil kid a register I asked for 2 things on menu and was told they dont have smh 1st flag. So I ordered jerk chicken with white rice and 4 cheese mac. Paid 14$. Ok 1st the portion is horrible they basically gave me leg and thigh. It was bake jerk chicken another red flag had no taste the mac and cheese was just not it at all . I am jamaican jerk is suppose to be grilled. All the good reviews are from Americans who dont know no better . Plz Dont go here for no authentic jamaican food.
