2 /5 Nick PP: The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a modern aesthetic and an inviting open-kitchen view. The space was impeccably clean and well maintained. Our server was pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made for a smooth dining experience.
We started with the calamari and Brussels sprouts. Both dishes were initially flavorful; however, the Brussels sprouts became noticeably salty as we worked our way through the plate.
The fish and shrimp entrees were again flavorful but leaned heavily on salt. The fish is battered in cornmeal, resulting in a denser, heavier texture than the lighter batters commonly used for this style of dish. One standout was a side of kale, which was well prepared and genuinely excellent. The chicken sandwich ordered by another member of our party was acceptable, though unremarkable.
Overall, the setting and service were strong, but the food itself felt inconsistent and somewhat underwhelming relative to the price point.
