5 /5 Tracy Efaw: We absolutely LOVED our first visit to The Goetchius House, nestled in the Historic District in Columbus, GA. The house itself is gorgeous, and decorated to the nines for Halloween. A short nostalgic walk from the Marriott where we stayed, the homes and sweet neighborhood was an added plus!
The food presentation was delightfully artful, and the food quality was second to none. We enjoyed every bite! The pictures show the AMAZING pear salad and Greek salad, the Sicilian Arancini appetizer—fried balls of risotto stuffed with mozzarella and gorgonzola (Heaven), the seared Ahi tuna on a “pedestal” of smashed avocado (cooked and seasoned to perfection), the petite filet mignon (which was more than petite and the best filet I’ve ever had, accompanied by risotto and broccoli), and a few house pictures.
Our server was excellent and guided us through our meal with aplomb! What a lovely experience we had! Our dinner was well worth every penny and was the highlight of our trip. We we will definitely return!
