5 /5 Alicea AJ: This was worth our trip to Thomasville.
Came to town for business.
Afterwards we checked out restaurants in the area.
We agree that we will return, whether we have a reason or not. It was 3 1/2 hours away, one way. It was worth it.
The employees are so mindful of their customers.
You can tell that they do their cooking from scratch. Just look at the picture.
Rutabagas, sweet taters, hominy, meatloaf and coleslaw.
There was rice & tomatoes, gizzards and liver, fried fish, fried and baked chicken, black eyed peas and rice, collard, turnip and mustard greens, beets, salad bar, apple and peach cobblers, a variety of cakes and puddings.
I have not had hominy in years due to the fact Im the only one in the family who likes it. So I made sure to eat my fill.
If we could give more than 5 stars we would.
