5 /5 Fatin Asnan: Coming to this restaurant wasn’t planned, but we were pleasantly surprised with the food, service, and vibe. We made a last minute reservation (due to our original restaurant didn’t work out). Got there 20 mins early and got seated right away.
For the food, we ordered the whole fried tilapia, a fried grouper fillet, an iron beer (Cuban version of coke)— and everything came just about $40. That price in the downtown of Savannah is unbelievable. Huge portions too. Photo of Tilapia with husband’s hand for scale, the Grouper, and the aftermath :)
More importantly, the foods were actually really tasty. Fishes were seasoned well. Sweet plantains were a nice touch of sweetness to the savory fish. And the garlic bread they gave in house… chef’s kiss!
Plus, they got live music and friendly servers. We were there for 1.5 hours and witnessed 3 birthday celebrations by the servers and the band. Service can be a bit slow due to how packed it is, but just set your expectations especially for weekend nights.
