3 /5 Tesjuan Hyland: so once again im in town for work and lunch time hits as im on the way out… so Lori’s is 1 of 2 options in Alamo when googled, thats not chain… so i make the short b line to grab a bite… initially i almost missed it, as its really a “hole in the wall” if your not a local… keeping it real, im always suspicious of small town ga restaurants, especially in towns with with more confederate flags on the road than American… and initially this restaurant did give me redneck vibes as i walked in (that one scene in the movie Life with martin and eddie). i greeted the 2 young women behind the counter; then they asked me what they could get from me(no greeting at all)… so naturally i thought a 5 star rating came with more hospitality that i got initially … of course ive never been here before; so per my usual, i asked what they suggest and both suggested wings, of which i agreed… obviously i was paying attention to where i sat to eat; i observed a diverse mix of customers, and there was a family feel among most everyone who work here. it did take almost 30 mins for my food to come out… can’t exactly say why, but what it seemed… was that my order may have not got ran when i ordered… NOW to the food… as seen in the pics the wings were on point; tho they only have basic flavors… no Lemon-pepper in the state where lemon-pepper was created… is like woe… the fries as seen in the pics where way over cooked and likely in old grease, but i made them work… finally and sadly the dr pepper (out the fountain) was flat… once i got settled for the hour i spent in this place, it was an ok atmosphere and comfortable… i’d definitely suggest improving there hospitality when someone walks thru the door and maybe minimize the obnoxious outburst of laughter of the skinny brother out the kitchen… not everyone is a local and him making snide remarks about customers could become a problem if they hear him… obviously if this were just a wing review, its probably a 4.3 stars… but because its also a restaurant review, my experience here was a hard 3 stars…
