1 /5 Jay Byrd: The absolute WORST service I have ever experienced. I used to work in the service industry at some main line high end restaurants, I dont take pleasure in this review but enough is enough and last night was too much. As a server, youre chasing tips and trying to go above and beyond to take care of your people and make them happy. Some people just dont need to be servers and thats okay, its not for everyone. Our server CULLEN was one of these people, a buffoon, he didnt check our drinks once. We were there for my wifes birthday figured we would go somewhere nice for the evening. We were a 4 top table, we all ordered hamburgers and an appetizer of pickle chips. We waited an hour for 3 of the 4 hamburgers and the sever brought the pickle chips out at the same time as the 3 burgers. The pickle chips were ice and the burgers were lukewarm they had been sitting for a bit, probably done at minimum 20 min earlier. Our 4th guest didnt get their hamburger until we had all finished and CULLEN the "server" brought out a to-go box for it and said he gave us a 20% discount. Laughable, you messed up that bad and you didnt at least comp the one burger? Even if the kitchen was having problems, I sincerely doubt it was all on them given CULLEN the "server" didnt check on us once and the fact the appetizer was forgotten about, I guarantee he forgot the 4th burger because he didnt write anything down. They were not busy, 3 other small tables on the balcony that night with another server out there assisting.
For a "quality" restaurant at a very beautiful hotel this kind of behaviors just unacceptable. We would have possibly got a birthday desert but decided against that as we didnt want to wait several hours for a piece of cake. What a joke. Dont spend your money here.
**Additionally** recently found out that CULLEN didnt put in the 4th burger for a fact then gave us a 20% discount for his total screw up. No ding dong, you comp that one burger you forgot about and dont charge people.
