Driftaway Cafe - Savannah (GA)

5 /5 Donna Urquhart: This restaurant has a lot of good things going for it. Firstly, the food is delicious. My husband had the fish and chips and I had the salmon salad and both were delicious. Secondly, it is very dog friendly. There is a covered area that is very comfortable that allows dogs and they were kind enough to bring our dog some water. That is always a plus. Thirdly, it is quite near Skidaway Island State Park where we were staying, so it was very convenient for us. Lastly, our server did a fantastic job taking care of us.

4 /5 Dierra Jones: I went to Driftaway with a few of my coworkers to eat and hangout. The service that we received walking in to sitting down at our table was amazing. I’m not sure of the man’s name at the door, but he ensured that me and my coworkers were accommodated with our large group. I wasn’t too crazy about the menu so I ordered their calamari and some fries. The food was ok in my opinion. The calamari was crunchy more than anything so I couldn’t really enjoy its texture. I did try a few of the other appetizers and food that my coworker’s had and it wasn’t bad. I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and their blue chips along with their breaded fried fish.

5 /5 Brad Wangler: Outstanding food, awesome service and great atmosphere. Our server Shannon did great!!!! Kept drinks full and easy to ask menu questions to. Our table did tacos; salmon tacos, firecracker tacos, blackened fish tacos and chicken bacon tacos. The firecracker tacos by far were the best. Would recommend. The others were excellent also, but the firecracker just was amazing. The atmosphere was great and cool after walking around wormsloe. Would recommend !!!!!!

5 /5 Jeb Stuart: This place is a gem! Best food we had on our Savannah trip. Very creative owner with all the amazing decor. We even had a cat sit with us on the back deck! Oh, and we saw a loggerhead at the base of their outdoor fountain!
