3 /5 C S: Nice staff & large selection. The food leaves something to be desired. I had mac, greens and fried chicken tenders. I guess this is the difference between southern comfort food and soul food(to be fair, they dont claim to be SF). There is enough salt but it lacks flavor from herbs, shallots, onions, garlic, etc. The Mac looked really good in the steamer... upon tasting it, it had enough salt but it was loose and the noodles were over cooked.
Just like some of the other reviews stated, yes the chicken was dry.
Over all the feel of the restaurant is like a smaller Picadilly if you are old enough to remember those or live close to one. It was a couple of bucks over priced for the portion. Its a high volume and friendly setting. Id try it again, but Im skipping the chicken for sure.
