5 /5 Charla Turner: We recently purchased a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving and it was amazing! This will be our new tradition. I was also extremely impressed with the professionalism and attitudes of the employees the night before Thanksgiving. They had a lot of order to fill and were very organized and so nice and patient with each customer. Strength is revealed under pressure and I can say this staff displayed strength! Its always been a pleasant dine in experience as well. Thanks Jim and Nicks for standing out and for the great food that is consistently good!

1 /5 Eric Tucker: For the past few years I always ordered a gallon of the collard greens and a gallon of the Mac and cheese because on one occasion years back I had only ordered a half gallon of both and it wasn’t enough for my family so I decided to always get a gallon of both. As far as I can remember the gallon portion came in the large pans. I never seen any differences in the pans year after year. A Half of gallon is the small pan. A gallon is the large pan. So I ordered a gallon of both for my family this thanksgiving. I Pre ordered 3-4 days before so I wouldn’t have a problem with their heavy Thanksgivings orders. I get my order. They give me a small pan of collards for $50 and a large pan of Mac and cheese for $50 so I asked the manager if they left a pan of the collards out. This is not the same amount of collards that I’m used to getting for the gallon size. He said to me that they measure the collards now with a quart cup. You get 4 quarts in the pan. Ok then if that was true why did they put it in a large pan for all those years? And if that was true why are you still selling a gallon of Mac and Cheese still in the large pan for $50? So why did you guys decide to just put the collards in a small pan? They put both a Half gallon or A whole gallon into a small pan. How would your customers know if they have the right amount? Should we watch you guys pour 2 quarts or 4 quarts? I ended up buying another small pan. Spending over $100 for a true gallon of collard greens. The same amount that I was getting every year. Jim and Nicks McDonough Ga. Cater’s a Gallon of Collard Greens in small pan for $50 Manager is Only Measuring the collards with a quart cup. How are you guys measuring a gallon of Mac and Cheese? So why are they putting the Collards in a small pan it doesn’t matter if you order a half gallon or a full gallon? See the picture below!!! I ordered the large pan - 1 Gallon $50 which should serve 20-24 people. They gave me the small pan- half a gallon $28 which should serve only 10-12 They gave me the $28 pan for the $50 pan. How can you tell the difference between the two when they are in the same pan? How could I compare? Only from what I’ve been getting before. Don’t take my word. Check for yourself.

1 /5 Darlene Perkins: Ordered food in the drive through on 1/6/26. Approx 3 pm It was a lunch/dinner order for my husband and I. I ordered an extra mac&cheese and the order taker repeated my order. I pay, added a tip, and drive off with my food. This was my 1st mistake!!!! I get home and realize I am missing an item and the portions are smaller. I call the location and explain the situation. I was placed on hold. Another person picks up and I explain the situation again. . She takes my name number and email and said she would email a gift card for my inconvenience. Not getting her name was my 2nd mistake!!! Needless to say, no gift card, no phone call or email. This is my 2nd encounter with a problem at this restaurant. I refuse to make a 3rd mistake dealing with this restaurant. It’s about the money and the principle… Food is too expensive to ignore mistakes, not to mention the portions are getting smaller. DO BETTER!!! In the meantime as for me and my family we will take our business elsewhere!

5 /5 Mike S: I spent the night in town here on my way to Florida and decided to grab a bite to eat. I was looking for a BBQ place and I found Jim N Nicks BBQ. It was about 8:30 when I went in and sat down to order. I am a big fan of good BBQ and I know the best places will run out of a few things by the end of the night. They had sold out on pulled pork and chicken but I saw something on the menu that I wanted to try anyway. It was BBQ smoked turkey breast! I has some at a different place up north a couple years ago that a BBQ Pitmaster from Missouri made for Thansgiving. It was so good. I have to say that this Turkey was just as incredible. It was tender and juicy and had a great flavor! You need to try it. The baked beans and corn on the cob were also fantastic. Very flavorful. The whole meal started out with these little hot and fresh muffins they brought out. Yum! My waitress was awesome. She was nice, she was attentive, and took great care of me. One of the best waitresses I have had in a long time. The hostess was very friendly too. I definitely recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner. They have dine in, order pickup, and a drive thru. There is a bar inside too. Its a pretty place.
