5 /5 kyra re: I’ve been here before and never had an experience like this. The food was terrible. I specifically asked for fresh plantains, and I was still given old ones. When I mentioned it, nothing was corrected. To make things worse, the owner became visibly upset over a simple drink swap. My friend ordered a Sprite, and I asked to exchange it for coconut water, which is the same price. I even offered to pay the difference just to avoid conflict, even though the prices were identical. The attitude and lack of customer service were extremely disappointing—especially coming from the owner. I won’t be returning.

They have managed to maintain the same great quality, authentic flavors, and warm atmosphere that make you feel right at home. Every dish tastes like true Cuban home-cooking — fresh, flavorful, and prepared with love. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. It’s rare to find a place that stays so consistent for so long, but this restaurant continues to deliver the same delicious food and genuine Cuban experience every single time. If you’re looking for authentic Cuban cuisine, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommended!

5 /5 Neely Beddoe: My sister and I are originally from Fort Lauderdale, and after living here for 4½ years, we’ve been seriously missing good Cuban food. While our car was being serviced nearby, we decided to give Coco’s a try — and I’m so glad we did! It’s a cute little café with so much charm, and the food was absolutely delicious. The roasted pork was moist, tender, and packed with flavor. The black beans had tremendous depth and seasoning, and the tostones? Light, crisp, and beyond delicious. If you’re craving authentic, flavorful Cuban food, I highly recommend giving this establishment a try. A true gem!

5 /5 Katie Moore: Stopped by for lunch with my parents after an ultrasound, and I’m still dreaming about the papaya milkshake…it was absolutely incredible! We also had the tostones, empanadas, and Cuban sandwiches, and everything was packed with flavor. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. Also the prices were very reasonable. I wish they had a location closer to Buford, but we’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in the area. Highly recommend!
