1 /5 Lei Miranda: I am writing this review because this restaurant absolutely failed in every possible way. I booked Coastal 15 expecting a high-end, quality dining experience. My usual choices are The Westin in South Carolina and The Pirate House — both of which have always delivered excellent meals and service. I only booked Coastal 15 this year because I wanted to try something different, and that was a mistake.
The presentation of the food was awful — everything piled onto one plate like someone dumped leftovers. I would never serve food like that in my own home. The taste was no better: almost everything tasted only like pepper, with no real seasoning, finesse, or care in preparation.
This felt like a money grab — no attention to detail, no quality, and no sense of hospitality. I left feeling cheated and disappointed, especially because this was meant to be a special Thanksgiving dinner with my godfather.
I strongly recommend NOT booking this place for any holiday or meaningful occasion. If this is their version of “fine dining,” McDonald’s is a better option. I will never return, and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
