Shanna Flores I want to start by expressing how truly difficult it is for me to share this review. After months of reflection and contemplation, I felt it was important to share my personal experience, hoping it may resonate with others.
I chose to work with Taylor Drake as my attorney based on a strong recommendation from another lawyer, and I entered our consultation with high hopes. However, after a significant amount of money was invested, I find myself feeling more lost and defeated than when I began this journey.
It pains me to say that I didnt feel the effort or dedication I had hoped for in my case, which was so crucial to changing parenting time and keeping my son with me after the dad filed for custody after. Im so thankful that my son stayed with me. However, Despite my attempts to provide clear and organized information, I sensed that not all of my documents were thoroughly reviewed. I feel that financially and other ways, I wasnt fought for.
The day of the court hearing arrived, and I was instructed to wait outside while the proceedings took place. I never had the chance to witness what was unfolding inside and how my attorney was representing me behind closed doors where the opposing party could hear, and I wish I had known I could have been there. The opposing party even expressed confusion about my absence, highlighting how isolated I felt in that moment.
After investing so much, I walked away feeling defeated and heartbroken. It’s painful to think about the thousands of dollars spent, only to feel that my attorney didn’t truly fight for me. On the other hand, the opposing party seemed to have an attorney who was thorough and committed, which is exactly what I wished for in my own representation.
As a single mom, I needed someone who saw me as more than just another case or a dollar sign. I needed someone who would listen to my struggles and fight for my son and I with passion and dedication. I share this not to cast blame, but in hopes that others may find someone who understands their situation deeply and advocates for them wholeheartedly.
Thank you to his assistant Brenda, though. Shes a wonderful person.
