1 /5 mike smith: Incredible example of a big business providing horrible customer service. They operate as a "private club." I went in to cash a check from one of their account holders. They refused without a $10.00 "service fee." Had the audacity to say that there was a cost to provide me the service since I wasnt an account holders. THE CHECK WAS WRITTEN ON THEIR BANK! It took longer to tell me ridiculous excuses like "you cant get anything for free now days" and to verify that the check was good (which, surprisingly, they did for free) than it would have to simply cash the $300 check so I suppose I cost them a little money but I wasted 30 minutes of my time (yep, thats how long it took to park and make it front of the line to be denied service) so Im still the loser.
