5 /5 Cecelia McMichen: I absolutely love this bank and the people that work there! Every time I have had interaction with them, I have received professional, prompt, courteous, personalized service. I changed from a larger bank to Small Town Bank and I have not had one regret. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

1 /5 Zachary Taylor: The ATM malfunctioned and ate my wife’s card. The first two employees I spoke to did not even wish to apologize for what had happened and basically alluded that I could be a criminal. They then informed me there was no way to get the card returned and that they would just destroy it. Worst personal banking experience I have ever experienced.

1 /5 James Ratliff: I called to see if they had a Notary on staff and in the building. I was told they do have a Notary then was asked if I was a customer. When I said I was not a current customer I was told they don’t notarize for non customers. Wow. For a bank that self promotes themselves as a “Small Town Bank is “A Real Community Bank" where we like to know our customers and be able to call them by name. Our goal is to meet the needs of all customers, ranging from small loans to Internet banking, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Simple banking and experienced common sense bankers are what we strive to be.” (From their website) They missed a huge opportunity to gain my business by telling me there was no need for me to even visit the branch that’s less than a mile from my home. I currently have relationships with 4 banks/investment firms and may have been interested to learn more about their services. Their loss.
