J Green & Co Jewelers Kingsland - St Marys Kristina Regnier: Honestly, I would give no stars if I could. I left my pearl whale tail necklace with them because when they cleaned it, the pearl fell off. No problem, I completely understand that. They kept the necklace to reattach the pearl, what they didnt tell me was that the pearl broke in half. Instead of informing me or offering to replace their mistake, they glued the pearl and acted like it never happened. I know that they glued it because last night the pearl fell off because of the split, it made the contact point weak to the whale tail charm. The jeweler that I took the necklace to today confirmed that the pearl was glued back together. I had no knowledge of this at all. To replace the pearl (because of the color and shape the pearl was considered high quality) it cost me $80 and $40 to have it repaired. So overall, this Jewelers mistake cost me $120 and I wont have my necklace back for two weeks while its shipped out for repairs. Which upsets me more because of the sentimental value of the necklace. I wouldnt have done this review or been so mad if they were just honest with me up front and worked with me to fix the mistake, instead of trying to cover it up.
