OneMain Financial - Conyers Tina: I recently applied to OneMain Financial at the Conyers location and had a follow-up conversation with Stephanie. Unfortunately, my experience was very negative. From the beginning, she was not friendly, and her tone felt rude and dismissive. Instead of feeling supported as a customer, I felt brushed off and unwelcome.
When someone applies for financial assistance, it is usually during an important or stressful time, so professionalism and courtesy are the least one should expect. Stephanie’s attitude made the process frustrating and left me with a bad impression of the company overall. If this is the level of customer service provided, it raises concerns about how clients are treated once they proceed further.
As a 1099 contractor, I was not approved due to her insisting that I provide pay stubs, even though I had connected my bank account for payment verification. I was simply told, “Well, we cannot approve you.”
