1 /5 Jakiva Merrell: I am highly dissatisfied with the services that were provided. I received a loan with One Main Financial in Conyers, GA. Upon getting my loan, I immediately began to experience friction with the workers at this office. When needing to make payments or to clarify information, this would always result in sarcasm and unpleasant conversation. I pay faithfully every month. There were times where the employees at this office felt the need to call me over 7 times in one day. Despite several attempts to call in advance to provide my estimated payment date to eliminate these unwanted calls. I would be constantly harassed with phone calls. There were times that these calls began before the due date. When informing them of the date I would pay, they would suggest that they could defer my payment which I did not want to do. Yet they forcefully offered this option every time without fail. The demeanor and energy of the employees were equivalent to the smell of their office. For over two years, the office smelled like a porty potty and fecal matter. Also to note that they all have signs on their desk stating, "I match energy so go ahead and decide how were going to act." Last year, I had a run-in with the manager (Lori) and another employee (Kaliyah) after they deferred payment on my account without permission. Rather than correcting the issue immediately, I had to experience confrontation with both of them until there was still no resolve. Recently, I came to their office to make my final payment in order to be free from this establishment and still experience difficulty. I had my final payment in the form of money orders. The manager (Lori) attempted to scan all of them and submit payment. She stated that an error occurred and that they are not sure which money order is missing. She told me that she needed a little time to correct the issue. I left for over an hour and returned. She stated that if I came back tomorrow the problem would be resolved. I came back the next day, and was informed that this issue would not be resolved and that she is not sure when it would be resolved. She made it clear that she had other things to do and that I was wasting her time. I told her that I am going to need a written document to address the issue that we are having. It had been over 24hrs and I still had not received my final statement to say that I had paid my account in full. I thanked her for giving me a written document, but I still needed reassurance that this would be resolved soon. All the while she began to get more and more impolite. I told her that if we could not get this resolved by tomorrow, I would be refunding all of the money orders. She stated if I told you that this would be resolved tomorrow, I would be lying. This is when she became really upset and intended to make me feel her anger and frustration. I got up, pushed my seat in, thank her for her time, and left. I received a call the next morning before office hours stating that the issue had been resolved and to pick up my final statement. This was a major struggle, like my entire experience with this company. I am happy to be free and do not wish to have business with this company ever again.
