Zinah Ghazi While the doctors and staff here are great, their scheduling process is a nightmare. My son has been due for his cleaning and checkup for months, and after they canceled his appointment last minute due to the doctor being unavailable, I’ve been trying to reschedule for two weeks now – calling, texting, even going in person – and still no luck. Their customer support is a zero out of ten. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Healing For My People I should have listened to the other reviews that I read on yelp, but I wanted to see for myself since this office is conveniently located near my home. 1. The office was not warm or inviting for children, which surprised my because I thought it was a pediatric friendly dentistry. There were no toys, books, magazines, no soft music playing and nothing on the television in the waiting room. 2. The office (especially bathroom) was not clean! There was a full trash upon opening of the business, along with urine on the toilet. The front desk associate eventually went and wiped the toilet seat off, but it was just gross in there! Is there not a regular janitorial service that occurs? Floors were filthy. Windows and doors were filthy with finger and hands marks that looked like had been there for who knows how long. This can’t be sanitary! 3. Both of the women up front at the desk had coughs and were coughing all into their hands. No masks on, and were not taking care to sanitize their space after coughing. 4. My appointment for my daughter was scheduled to begin at 8am, but we did not get seen until 8:26am, which was inconvenient because I had to get my daughter to school afterwards in a decent time. 5. I had to ask to go check on my daughter for her cleaning, and when I went back, it seemed like the dentist was rushing, quickly trying to move to the next client. 6. Since this was our first visit, I definitely expected more. But there was no talk about my daughter’s precious dentistry or records (that we sent over prior but received no confirmation of receipt). 7. When I was waiting for my daughter, there was another patient who stormed out and said she would “never be back”…..lots of red flags for me on an initial visit. Just because this office takes Medicaid, doesn’t mean Medicaid patients want to or deserve to be treated poorly. We should not have to be subjected to unclean treatment and rushed appointments. I hope that they do better!

Lady Jay Ive been trying to reschedule my childrens appointment for 2 days in a row. No one will answer the phone. I then tried to text, like they told me to and was met with some of the worst customer service Ive ever received. I think its time to change their dentist. It shouldnt be this difficult to talk to someone.

Ren Long Smiles 4 Grant Park is great. Dr. Lee is smart and kind, the front office staff make you feel so welcome, and every hygienist Ive had has been professional and nice! My teeth feel great and the team is giving me amazing care. I love how they take the time to explain whats going on with my teeth and offer suggestions to help me better care for them. Highly recommend!!!!

Melissa Chila I had my first appointment with Dr. Lee this week and I enjoyed everything about it. From the moment you walk in, youre greeted by a welcoming reception area and friendly and helpful front desk staff. The team at Smiles 4 Grant Park were all very thorough and happy to answer any questions I had. Dr. Lee has assembled a great group of people, and I look forward to my next visit.

Zakia I did a lot of research before picking out a new dentist. I decided to try Smiles 4 Grant Park and I wish I would have gone earlier. Everyone from the office manager, dental hygienist to Dr. Lee is extremely professional and simply nice. I’ve never had such a thorough dental appointment. Plus this practice is in network with my dental insurance!

Shantae Gorman Dr Haider has great banter with his employees. He is excellent at his craft. He gets you in and out while making sure you are educated with what is happening in your mouth. I love the hygienist Teresa, she is so kind and understanding. Even the front desk employee Norma is always on point. Love this team.

Stephanie Edwards So, from the beginning to the end.. from Norma and Chanell to Misha, Teresa (hygienist), Rosie and oh yes, DR. HAIDER, the customer service and expertise and education with that camera he uses that shows the before and a during and after of everything he does was just AMAZING! I’m educated. No needles, no pain, no shots!!! The diagnostic process was amazing because he caught my fillings before they got deep! Other dentists did not do this! Definitely recommend this dental office. When you go in, it looks amazing. Very high tech.

I chose to go with inBrace option and that’s the only reason I did not follow through with his practice due to they do not offer inBrace. However, I highly recommend Dr. Francis and his staff if you’re considering traditional braces.

Ben Wadowski I hardly ever leave reviews, but I have to warn others about this place. In fairness, the dentist was pleasant, prompt, and reasonable. Unfortunately, there were a few red flags regarding the rest of the organization. I made and then adjusted my appointment by phone directly with their staff, but when I arrived they told me I was still scheduled for my original time. They take more baseline X-rays than any dentist I’ve ever been to, and I’m pretty confident it’s more than basic insurance wants to cover. After my hygienist exam, which took about 90 seconds, she decided that she didn’t have time to clean my teeth (the whole purpose of my visit). Mind you, no major concerns or mitigating circumstances noted by the dentist. When I went to check out and finalize a second appointment to actually get my teeth cleaned, they gave me an estimate for hundreds of dollars in out of pocket fees. I said no thanks. Do yourself a favor and find a dental practice that actually cleans your teeth. The other reviewers castigating this place are not lying.

Elle Swoope I went as a new patient and it was okay. They moved pretty fast with the first visit. Doctor and assistant were great. I will say, I am not a fan of the open office concept. The first time, there was an assistant that was way too chatty and the second time, I had to list to the moans and groans of someone suffering. But the biggest problem comes when they shared with me my financial options for paying for dental work. The accountant/front desk agent told me that CareCredit doesn’t do a hard pull on my credit. I went with it because she said the other option did do a hard pull, however Care Credit also does a hard pull. Had I known that, I wouldn’t have gone with it. My credit score went down 14 points because of her misinformation at a credible time for me. That was important financial information that you MUST be aware of when talking to clients and it was careless.

Peter Petrzala First of all, the location convenience is fantastic for me. Ive been coming here for about 2 years now? And dont foresee myself going anywhere else, unless I move. Dr. Ahmadi is really great. Super friendly. It feels like Im seeing a friend when I go to my dentist appointment. He listens to my concerns, doesnt just brush them off to the side. I really appreciate that. Ive had some in the past who let what I say go in one ear and out the other without giving a second thought. So this is refreshing. The hygienists are also great and friendly. I know theyre poking around with sharp tools, but they do a good job of not making it painful or uncomfortable.

Keith McDermott This is a terrific operation. You feel at ease from the time you arrive until the moment you check out. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hygienists are skilled and efficient. The doctors are knowledgeable, patient and extremely courteous. I have had 3 dentists in my 57 years and this is the best practice of them all!

Adrian S Herongrove I have NEVER in my life been to any dental specialist who didn’t hurt me when using the Novocaine or wasn’t condescending to me for having sensory issues. Dr Pafford is incredible! Not only can he numb me up without my feeling it, he also finished my complicated root canal in 35 minutes. I’ve gone to him 3 times over the last 10 years and if I could pay him to do my general dentistry too, I would. He’s literally the only dental professional I have ever trusted, and I don’t need to be sedated to see him because he’s THAT good. I’ve been to 13 different dentists in 3 different states and he’s the only one I’ve ever been back to that I trust. His office is very queer friendly and everyone here has a sense of humor and kind demeanor. Truly the best!

Rémi Dyon Dr Pafford and his team are the absolute best! They took me in for an emergency root canal at 6:45 am before their office even opened because I was in pain and leaving on a business trip the same day for a week. Dr Pafford did an amazing job and a few hours later I was in the plane with little to no pain and root canal was done. This is amazing patient care! Highly recommend this dentist!

Muluken Demissie We went to this location after seeing thier good review but our experience was extremely disappointing. The Dr almost refused to do the basic cleaning service which is covered by our insurance. They also did some additional examinatin without consulting us and made us pay for it. We were told the payment we made was final but after a couple of weeks we recieved addiotional payment. Such kind of dishonesty was the reason we left our previous dentist but it seems this is even more disappointing. I do not recomment it at all.

Lili Santiago-Silva Northlake Family Dentistry is great. I was new to area and my husband was the one who recommended them. I love Dr. Pom and staff. Very friendly and professional. They send reminders of your appointment and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes upon arrival. Ive had no problems or "surprises" from my insurance. Dr. Pom is very gentle and I have no complaints.

Keith There was misinformation given about insurance coverage. Northlake FD led to believe my dental insurance would cover 90% of the work, but after my initial visit, I was only reimbursed 30%. Just make sure you get everything in writing before your first visit. Otherwise, the practice seems nice, clean, and professional.

Hanh Tran Dr. Spaulding is the best and most exceptional doctor I have ever had. Dr. Spaulding and her assistant Kevin are incredibly professional, super friendly, very patient, and always diligently lay out the treatment process. The office atmosphere is so warm, super clean, and has technologically advanced equipments. All of my family members are Dr. Spaulding’s patients. I highly recommend her services. Also, her hygienist Danielle did a very good job cleaning my teeth. She was professional and didnt rush things.

Carolyn Endsley I have had good experiences with the doctors, however, not with the front office staff. The front office staff is the first impression, the first introduction to the practice. I had dental work performed in October. I paid a portion and my insurance paid a portion. Based on what I told to pay, it was determined that I overpaid over $300.00 dollars. Today is April 29th and I am still trying to get my money back. Whenever I call, there is some excuse. I have filed a dispute with the my dental insurance company, hopefully this issue will be resolved within 30 days.
