Quantavia Ramers I love love love my hair ! I had the hardest time finding someone I could trust to do my hair and I am so glad I gave this salon a chance and I was impressed. Awesome. I have long thick hair and my hair feels so soft. Most of the Dominican places I have been to have either burned my scalp or an ear but not them. Excellent and quick service I was out in 2 hours.

Tiffany Caruso Salon is now under new ownership. My daughters silk press didnt last a full 8 hours. The new stylist, staff and owners are nothing like the prior ownership. Now the new ownership claim they do make up. Thats a lie. They dont know how to properly apply strip lashes and want to try and charge $100 for makeup. My daughter has a beautiful brown skin complexion and the so called makeup artist applied a foundation so white on her neck and face that didnt match the rest of her body it was ridiculous. Before new ownership weve been going here for years. But after recent visit this past weekend with new ownership we will never step foot in that place ever again. They do not know how to properly communicate to their clients or conduct business.

Ayanna Gomez I wanted a change, with a cut and silk press. I wasnt expecting it to look and feel so good as it does, and the owner really took her time with the cut, and provided great service. I would recommend the salon to anyone.

Sandy Gaither I went to this salon for the first time to get a full set of acrylic nails. The nail tech asked if I had a picture of what I wanted, and I showed her (see 1st photo). Nothing too crazy. What I ended up with was one of the worst full sets I’ve ever gotten. My nails are super square, thick, flat, wide, uneven, and just UGLY. Nothing even close to what I requested. Several of my nails look tilted upwards. The nail on my left middle finger is a lot longer than all the rest of my nails. My thumbnails don’t match and are horribly flat and wide; they look like shovels. The white tips are not even remotely blended, and the base color is nothing like the picture of what I wanted. It seemed like the nail tech was very inexperienced at acrylics. I can’t believe I paid $60 for this set, before the tip! Unfortunately, I don’t have the money right now to go somewhere else and get a whole new full set, so I am stuck with these ugly nails for awhile. Buyer beware. ☹️

Dabreliah Stephenson Lynn did an amazing job! She stayed well past closing and made sure the shape, length, design and color shades were exactly how I wanted them and she maintained great customer service while doing it. And she was gentle with the drill, Shes very hardworking, Professional and patient. I left with a smile on my face. I highly recommend!!

lexi whitcher LV nail salon is great! If you have any questions about pricing the lady’s there are more then happy to explain how the pricing works. Lien and her husband are the owns of the nail salon and they are so nice! When I went in for an SNS dip, Lien did my nails, and she did such a great job. We starting chatting and I mentioned that I was getting married at the end of the month and she asked if she could throw a little party for me and my girls! SO kind of her!! They accommodated myself, my husband and 8 other people! All of the girls had nothing but good things to say about their nails. This nail salon does not only have a very friendly staff, but also has very clean appliances.

Abby M Lovely experience getting a pedicure and dip powder at Swan nails. Pedicure chairs are new (when asked, the owner said they had arrived less than a month ago) and very very comfortable. Color selection was broad for regular and gel polish as well as dip powder. I had a wonderful chat with Elan while she was doing my nails, and she did an amazing job. Not a single nick to my cuticles, which is incredibly rare for me, and the powder was even across all my nails as well (iykyk). Will be coming back for sure!

Tammy Wood The people that work there are very nice . It’s not really loud in there like most places, which I really like. My Pedicures still looks great after 2 weeks. I really like this nail salon much better than any other one I have ever used. I’m so glad they are also close to home!

Brittany Stevens Girls day for my birthday. We had 4 of us girls, 3 acrylics and all designs. We were only there for bout 2 hours with only 2 people working on us. Designs drawn on by lookin at picture. They are definitely a great team and amazing work.

allison douglas This has to be the most horrible nail salon in the area. If I could do a review with 0 stars I I would. The owner was obviously not interested in doing my 7 year old and her friends nails, I guess doing kids manicures don’t make enough $$! What she failed to realize is I have 2 older daughters and the 3 of us spend hella $$ getting our nails done every 2 weeks and I was shopping around for a new nail salon. After waiting for close to an hour she finally got around to helping us then YELLED at my child for standing beside her friend while she waited for her turn. Then told my 7 year old that next time she “need to pick different color that ugly”. Then she charged about double what most salons charge, for crappy service. I haven’t found a nail salon in Winder that actually does a good job or good customer service.

Raluca M. Carty When I saw this place had just as many bad reviews as they had good, I chose to overlook it and go in there anyway. First I was charged $75 for SNS without even doing a manicure. I thought it was my bad for not asking how much before sitting down. I got them done on a Wednesday and by Friday one nail was chipped. By the following Monday 2 more were chipped and 2 others had cracks. Considering how much it cost and the fact that I had SNS on my nails for 4 weeks before without chipping (done somewhere else), exactly a week later I went in and asked if she could redo the ones braking and chipping. She decided to peel and clip the SNS off my nails without soaking them. That was probably one of the most painful things Ive ever felt on my nails. So needless to say, next time you need your nails done, find another place. Expensive and poor quality.

Tia Gibson Went and got a supposedly gel French manicure the first time they were pretty but I went again to get a fill in & the next day my French gel nails looked dingy not even white so I went to see if they could fix it for free because it was all in the same week & they basically was looking at me crazy & saying I should of asked for gel polish too for my fill in. My thing is why if y’all knew I was getting my gel nails filled in!!!! Pissed me off so I will def not be returning, sad because they did decent eyebrow work.

Greenie Jeanie I went here with my daughter to get our nails done for my wedding day. I explained to the lady painting my daughter’s nails to give her a pedicure. She said she can’t reach. There no argument there, but the fact that I had to ask you to clean under her nails was one of the first red flags. She was just playing with play dough so it was still moist, all she had to do was clean it claiming she “couldn’t get it out.” But she did as I was watching her. You can tell someone’s body language when they don’t want to do a good job for you and I was prepared to spend lots of money with them. You know you’re supposed to use clean drills and files on each customer, right? These are Nail school basic lessons. I told them I wanted a manicure before my French white set and she didn’t want to do it. The nail tech that did my nails told me I waited until the last minute to do my nails and proceeded to glue my white nail tips on which are currently lifting from the bottom. Like seriously, keep your comments to yourself! I waited until the day before because I wanted my nails to look fresh. I then asked her to give me an almond shape and she needed to be coached through that. Upon the application of my acrylic and filing, I had to ask multiple times to straighten out the sidewalls of my nails before getting so frustrated that I picked up a natural nail file (this is what she used instead of an acrylic file with a lower grit) and filed it myself. Underneath my tips are flooded with extra acrylic and my nails do not look clean. After being asked to wash my hands I was so frustrated that I told her I’m ready to leave now and I’ll apply the top coat myself when I got home. You never know who has attended nail school when they sit in your chair and your professionalism and work will speak for itself. Sometimes I just want to be catered to and that’s why I occasionally visit nails salons instead of doing them myself. I had cash and was prepared to tip well and I left them nothing. The pedicure was okay, but the massage was lack luster and no oil or lotion was applied on my feet after my nails were dry. If I’m being honest there was nothing luxurious about my service and I regret turning around to try this place instead of trying out Thai Nails like I originally planned. The name of this business is truly deceptive and I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to go here. The glitter gel and top coat I did myself. I’m the last photo you can see where the nail is filed slightly to the left after asking multiple times to fix it and I was told my nail grows that way. If I was given a proper manicure like I asked she would’ve been able to push back my cuticles and see that this is not the case. The worst $100+ dollars I’ve ever spent. Here 2 weeks post my visit are the results of my nail beds after going back for the 2nd time for them to “rewrite the story” which they did not. They fixed one nail and put glue underneath the nail tips that were lifting from the bottom.

I went in knowing what I wanted my nails to look like but didn’t know what kind of extensions to get and she explained the differences, what she recommends and she tried one of each on my nails so I could decide. The work environment is also very fun and open making it a comfortable experience:)

Penny Gober My nails look amazing. Ken is one of the best nail technicians I’m ever had and Dee did an excellent pedicure. Ken really listens and provided feedback based on your skin color and nail shape. He’s wonderful. This is my new favorite place. Love these folks!

She also would ask me throughout my service if the length, shape, and color was okay. I really appreciate that! I had a great experience and look forward to my next visit!

Tiffanie P Absolute worst pedicure experience ever! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR money here! I went in for a pedicure and fill in on my nails. My pedicure experience was AWFUL the tech did not know what she was doing with ingrown toenails and completely ruined my toenail ! I went home after my service and my toe was throbbing so bad and throughout the night began to ooze !! I cleaned my toe and kept applying antibiotic ointment but kept getting worse ! I went back to show them how bad my toe was and the overall poor quality of my pedicure. They were insistent on “fixing “ it so I allowed them to try to fix the problem. A new tech dug and cut even more of the sidewall of my nail away where I was bleeding badly. They attempted to fix the terrible acrylic application to my big toe and my polish but was all AWFUL ! A week later my toe nail has cracked off , the polish on my big toe never even set correctly and looks ridiculous. I had to demand the use sterile instruments when I went back as they grabbed dirty used instruments when I was already displaying an open wound on my toe. I really should go back and demand a full refund. This has been a nightmare! I will make sure I tell as many people as I can to avoid this place! For the prices they charge , this was absolutely unacceptable! TERRIBLE !!!!!

Sarah Minna Boyd Everyone needs a nail tech like Seven! I even followed him from his last spot in Conyers since he started managing Q.A Nails. I drive over an hour to see him and its beyond worth it. The 1st picture (pink & white) is 5 weeks between services to the 2nd picture (black & irish flag) today! The quality and his service is unlike anything Ive ever experienced. This salon is extremely clean and offers a wider variety of products and services than most. Highly recommend!

britney Where do I begin? I should note before you read my review that if you value your health and believe in going somewhere sanitary, avoid going here. I say why at the end. First of all, I drove two hours here after work because I seen how good their reviews are. I came here all the time 3 years ago and they always did a great job on my nails. When I came in this time, I told them I wanted the photo in the middle as far as shape but just a little longer, and I picked a shade out of the jelly nail samples that they have and asked if they could be completely clear and jelly-like, just like the sample. Three different workers told me that they could do this. Then once they started doing my nails, white tips were applied and pink acrylic, which is obviously not going to be clear. Before the worker went any further, I asked him if my nails are still going to be clear once he applied the jelly nail polish, to which he said “I don’t know” and I said “well, I want them to be clear” and he said “we will see when we put it on” and kept ignoring my requests. Once he puts on the polish, I tell him I don’t like it and it’s not clear. Somebody else comes over and they try blaming me for not being clear on what I want, which is not the case whatsoever I stated multiple times what I want and used the sample as an exact request as to what I wanted. They ask me if I have time so they can take all of the nails off and fix them, I say no because I don’t I need to drive home & I pick out a shade and TWO TIMES the man comes out with the wrong color & I just deal with it at the end and decide in my head I will NEVER come here again. The photo to the right is my nail next to the color I asked for vs what I got. NOW, it’s Saturday. I got my nails done yesterday. My fingers are in pain and sore. I just want a refund, I paid $50 for these hideous nails and they’re asking me to come in and take them off before I get a refund. Mind you, I drove two hours there. HORRIBLE customer service. I do not recommend trusting these people with your nails. I should also add, they’re extremely unsanitary. They were reusing the same nail buffers, files, AND nail bits without sanitizing them which is not legal.

Summer Rae So I went on the Friday before Easter. Super busy which is expected. I didn’t wait super long everyone was friendly. The only thing I have an issue with is my gel already peeling off and it’s Monday. I used to see someone specifically for gel and it never came off so I might go back to her she’s just super far. ANYWAYS, my pedicure I picked yellow and it didn’t look anything like the yellow I picked once on my toes. Which was fine so I picked a different yellow for my nails which came out almost white? Also didn’t say anything cause I was ready to leave. I will show you want I showed them and what I got. This is on my natural nails with gel. Mostly peeling at the cuticle area and some are coming off without messing with them I picked a pastel yellow but it looks like a dirty white. Anyways. My experience was okay I guess. I would like to maybe try again with someone new and when it’s not so busy.

Melissa Gallagher This is my 3rd time here for Gel Acrylic overlay/fill in. I have had a wonderful experience each time. They very professional and pay attention to detail. I would recommend them to anyone. I have been to 3 different technicians and all have the same standards. The salon is very clean and the sanitize their equipment. Love them.

Savannah Friend I loved the experience! I went today and had a bit of a more difficult nail design but my nail tech did amazing! The nail colors look very bright and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I will definitely be going back soon!

Lilly Curry The lady that does my nails always does a great job when she does them no doubt. But I e noticed the 3 times I’ve been there they have charged me 3 different prices for the exact same thing I always get. I caught on. I was just there 2 weeks ago came in today and was charged 89 for a filling and pedicure with no polish. I seen there is a fee for credit card payments. But like I said this time it was a filling and regular pedicure not even a full set and I was charged wayyy more when I had gotten extra stuff done. Love the work but the prices are not consistent!!

Michele Dennis Exceptional service from the time you walk through the door. My pedicure technician, Tina, did a phenomenal job and my nail technician, Mi, did a phenomenal job as well. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. The Modern Nails Spa & Skin Care nail salon offered water and drinks to customers. I highly recommend. This was my first experience with them, so I will update if anything changes.

Sunshine Her This was my first time visiting this nail salon and unfortunately, I will not be returning. The man who did my manicure asked me for approval of my nail shape to make sure it was straight and the shape I wanted. I told him 2-3 times that the shape was crooked. I appreciated him asking me for reassurance, but all of my nails are not the same shape. In fact, some of them are crooked even after I told him to fix it. Its my fault for not paying more attention to the shape of my nails, but you would think that with their expertise, they would know how to naturally shape a nail without it being crooked. Also, the cuticle cleaning hurt and I had a lot of dry skin still hanging around my nails after the trimming. And the gel manicure was messy. I have nail polish over my cuticles. And the hand massage afterwards was so rough and quick. It definitely felt like he was rushing. As for my pedicure, the lady who did my pedicure was sweet but the polish work is not good. You can clearly see where the second layer of polish is not even aligned with the first layer. Its not clean work. Also, the lady doing my pedicure kept getting up several times to do other things around the salon which is inconsiderate of my time. I paid $87 (not including tip) for a gel manicure & the second level pedicure with regular polish, and my daughters basic manicure ($15 for kids). I understand that it was towards the end of the day, but I am still a paying customer expecting good service.
