Raylemisha Williams The learning recieved here is awesome!!! You get to learn and truly understand about the true church of the Bible; the only church you can read about that exist on Earth today. It is a non-denominational church in which follow the scriptures as close as possible to be in line with what is commanded and ordained by what thus saith the Lord. This congregation has an awesome leadership, ministers and ministry, as well as awesome congregational/acapalla signing, with a mix congregation of many pleasant members. I strongly encourage many to come out and fellowship, you will love it!!!

Tonya Ford Dale Ive visited twice (so far) for Wednesdays midday Bible study. I love the atmosphere. You can feel peace when you walk in. The pastor sticks to the Word. The congregation is welcoming without being overbearing. The teachings are practiced by the members in real life.

Tina W This church was devastating to go to. Im from Colorado. Weve had non-denominational churches since early 90s. I come from Flatirons church, Red Rocks church, and even moved to NC to attend Elevation Church a few years in 2021 - those churches are non-denominational. This church is DEEPLY Baptist, conservative, and pretending to be something its not. The morning I woke up and went, was because encouraged by the cool espresso/cafe, so cool, except they are not up to date on gluten and sugar free coffee sweetener options or pastries, so that didnt go well/was a sad experience. And no almond milk option... But the preaching was done by the main pastors son I think. Keep in mind that I had followed the cafe the church the pastor and his son on Instagram. Followed all of them. Only to be revealed at the end of the sermon where their site was truly at, when they/he commented about the Muslim culture having virgins promised in heaven. Since when do we need to cut down another religion to build ours up? And to make it seem more righteous or good? Gut wrenching. As I am half white, half Pakistani and Indian 37 year old, and although I was raised Christian and by my white mother I have Muslim family. I literally almost brought a very close family member with me that morning. I AM SO GLAD I DIDNT. I looked high and low at churches in Columbus. I was so excited that this was going to be the one. It had to be it was the most modern looking one in a conservative Southern town.... It, sadly, broke my heart, and I left. I will not be going back to church here, or anywhere in Columbus. Even though I love Columbus movie calling is my home I am giving my time as a churchgoer, its end. Thank you to all the years and different churches Ive been. And now to hold steady on my own, and while watching Elevation Church online.

I have been blessed to be on this faith walk journey through life with these authentic, love filled, and amazing group of people for 1 year and it has helped my discipleship, and commitment to Jesus through the Word of God and its application for everyday life. You never feel condemn when you leave the service, just leave wanting to grow, serve and do better in your walk with the Lord. Love my campus Pastor, Bro Kyle he can pray heaven down and you can feel the presents of the Holy Spirit when he preaches and in his gentle smile!

Erin Williams This was our second time visiting Evangel and we have enjoyed both services! The church body is ethnically diverse, friendly, and welcoming. The pastor is down to earth, approachable, and humble. He preaches the Word in a practical way that is easy to understand and apply to everyday life situations. The worship atmosphere is relaxed (in a good way!) — folks feel comfortable worshiping as they feel led. The worship music offers a refreshing mix of traditional songs (hymns) with a modern twist — along with contemporary worship songs. My 3yr old grandson visited the children’s ministry (Explorer’s Landing) and absolutely loved it! It’s clear Evangel appreciates the need for healthy children’s and student outreach programs — then carried out a successful plan to sow into those ministries. We look forward to visiting again this Sunday!

ronnie Pastor gossips about and speaks badly about his own church members as well as people in the community. He is rude and judgmental. Do NOT go to this church if you’re looking for a place to feel welcomed and worship. We came here as a new military family to the area looking to become connected to a new church home and were deeply disappointed. Military families run and go straight to Cascade Hills or other local churches where they practice what they preach.

Roxanne While visiting my daughter in Columbus from New York , I looked online to find a church to attend today. I am so glad the Lord led us to Church on the Trail. The songs were beautifully played and sung, and went along with the sermon message. The sermon was straightforward, totally Biblical, and the pastor has a great understanding of both the old and new testaments, tying them coherently together in such a way that anyone could easily grasp the life application. I highly recommend this church to anyone in the area. Oh- and last but not least, the people are welcoming and friendly!

Kate Earl A church that welcomes everyone and teaches Biblical truth. This church is a wonderful church for those looking for a church home, even virtually (as the virtual community is very strong!). There are many life groups to join to stay connected to the church, as well. Pastor Jeff is such a wonderful pastor who teaches Gods heart and love for His people!

Bob Densmore They told me they would assist me with $150 charity, and then renigged on their donation saying “no, we didn’t tell you we’d help” and to go “get it elsewhere”. I asked to speak to the pastor and the guy answering the phone said “I’m standing in for him”, no doubt shielding him when he needed to know the truth about how his flock are treating others with such unconcern and disrespect. These people are pretentious and uncaring about their fellow man (an elderly handicap vet), who’s gonna be homeless and who knowingly doesn’t even have money for food or gas or rent (etc). This is not how God intends for the hurt and the broken and truly needy to be treated. Shame on you!

This isnt a building, but a true family of Christ-like people whose hearts are on fire for the Lord. Ive never felt more valued, more loved, more at home, and less judged than when I am with my church. If you are looking for a church that will take care of your kiddos & cherish them as if they are their own, our nursery leader Brenda loves the babies so so much and makes sure that they know how much Jesus loves them. Pastor Brandon pours endless hours, energy, love, & passion into the people of this church & community. He, & the other leaders of this church go to battle through prayer for the people of this church every day. They have helped me to find my purpose, my passion, & my reason for living - Jesus & His glory. If you are looking for a home that is focused on outreach as well as discipleship, loving others as Christ does, and somewhere that you will never want to leave, we would absolutely love for you to come join us!!

Crystal Bryan My family and I have been a member of Rivertown Church for 5+ years. I absolutely love it! I have visited different churches in the past and never felt welcomed. Nor understood what the message was about that the Pastor was speaking. Pastor David is an amazing pastor and person at heart. He has always been here for my family and I. Every Sunday, when you come into the church you are welcomed by someone of the congregation. I have never had a dull moment being a member of Rivertown Church. I enjoy the unity this church offers! Great CHURCH!
