Erin Williams: This was our second time visiting Evangel and we have enjoyed both services! The church body is ethnically diverse, friendly, and welcoming. The pastor is down to earth, approachable, and humble. He preaches the Word in a practical way that is easy to understand and apply to everyday life situations. The worship atmosphere is relaxed (in a good way!) — folks feel comfortable worshiping as they feel led. The worship music offers a refreshing mix of traditional songs (hymns) with a modern twist — along with contemporary worship songs. My 3yr old grandson visited the children’s ministry (Explorer’s Landing) and absolutely loved it! It’s clear Evangel appreciates the need for healthy children’s and student outreach programs — then carried out a successful plan to sow into those ministries. We look forward to visiting again this Sunday!
Queen Kenneth (KQ): Visited the River of Columbus Church to see Jesse Duplantis. The staff from the parking lot to the ushers were all exceptionally kind to everyone. The atmosphere was very welcoming. They definitely went out of their way to make everyone feel welcomed!
Kate Earl: A church that welcomes everyone and teaches Biblical truth. This church is a wonderful church for those looking for a church home, even virtually (as the virtual community is very strong!). There are many life groups to join to stay connected to the church, as well. Pastor Jeff is such a wonderful pastor who teaches Gods heart and love for His people!
Colley Williams: We have a great church with a great group of people. We welcome all people to worship with us and we are a word faith church that believes we walk by faith not by sight. We include welcoming and loving the LGBTQS community also. Come join us on Sundays 11 AM and Wednesday at 7 pm
