3 /5 Dana: Popped in after originally just planning to view their sister business next door. Love the decor and atmosphere of the place, but for such a large space there really wasn’t a lot of merchandise. The plants for sale also looked rough. I get the concept is a mixed-use space, but it just feels off. Roller skates in a corner past a swing that a kid nearly took me out on while using? Will there be a coffee bar for the seating area or could people just walk in and hangout on the couch? Just weird.

2 /5 Leah Fry: I’ve been coming to this location ever since 2021 when it was still “Vintageville”, and I’ve found tons of treasures over the years, but it’s slowly being consumed with slop. Multiple vendor booths are full of AI generated artwork and 3D printed junk. There needs to be a better vetting process on who gets to sell their work, because it’s eating away at space that could be better used by people selling human-made art and actual vintage items. Also, if you’re a collector of cassettes, make sure you look over the ones sold at Blue Canary carefully, as several that I looked at were infested with white mold on the spools. I understand that these are secondhand items, but nobody wants to buy products that are health concerns. I really have loved this place, but something needs to be done about quality control.

5 /5 Kyle Saye: I was hunting for vinyl on a visit to Columbus and found this wonderful place. Blue Canary record shop has apparently moved in and I was impressed with the selections I found. I didn’t have time to look around at everything but it seems like a place my lady could spend hours in and come out very happy with many unique purchases. Highly recommended!
