1 /5 Daniel Walker: So theft is ok here but returns are not? Went into the store today to return a pair of shoes that I had bought from this same location the day before. They were only worn for maybe 5 minutes walking around in my house before figuring out they didnt fit well. I figured with the receipt and the tags from the shoes returning them the next day wouldnt be a problem. I was wrong. The Indian woman cashier takes one look at the bottom of the shoes and says "these are dirty, we cant take them back" (they were not dirty). After repeatedly explaining to her that they were bought yesterday and only worn 5 minutes she finally says shell have to check with her manager. She then comes back with an even bigger attitude and Im told that they shouldnt allow me to return these, but theyll make an exception this ONE time, but theyre never taking anything like this back again so dont even try it. The whole time treating me like Im trying to run some kind of scam on them and that Im lucky theyre actually allowing me to return them.
Funny thing is when I was at the only register open buying the shoes the day before, two people that had been shopping casually walked right past the registers and right out the door triggering the theft alarm. All they got was a glance and a shrug from the employees. But Im treated like some kind of criminal for a return. Absolutely ridiculous. I wont be back.
I guess you should only shop here if your interested in the 5 finger discount they apparently allow.
