2 /5 phoenix rahel: Browsed around, found a few pieces (they were on the wrong racks price wise, but I liked and wanted them) so the store is fine, but the employees with whom I interacted really put a damper on my day/shopping experience.. Two folks were at the front and as I walked around looking confused at the front one of them asks “can we help you find suntin?” to which I respond that I’m ready to check out. I asked for a price verification (which is when I pointed to the signs that say $3 (that item was $5) and $7 in the plus section). Knowing that sometimes prices listed and in systems don’t match, I was asking if it would ring up the same in the system. The cashier then lets me know what the total would be (without tax bc she said she couldn’t ring it up and then void it?? sounds wrong as someone who has worked in retail.). All of this was done with a nasty attitude (I asked how she was doing first, she didn’t ask back). Overall, I had a piss poor customer service experience. On different shifts, I’ve had people greet me when I walk in, but none of that happened. I was really disheartened and actually hurt by the attitude I received and the energy of the exchange. I hope there is better customer service training in the future and that folks don’t have to deal with the attitudes of the folks on this shift.
