1 /5 Makenzie Morrisey (M): I genuinely don’t understand how this location stays in business.
The Kohl’s has given me a terrible experience five times in a row, and somehow each visit manages to be worse than the last. The entire process, from walking in to checking out, is consistently frustrating.
The staff is routinely rude and unhelpful, and checkout takes an absurd amount of time. You’ll stand in line forever watching employees move painfully slowly with no sense of urgency, all while customers pile up behind you.
The Amazon return situation is what finally pushed me over the edge. I’m forced to come here for Amazon drop-offs, and each time I’m “rewarded” with a $10 off $25 coupon. Sounds nice… except it never actually works.
One coupon expired because I was told it couldn’t be used on name brands. Fine. Then I received another identical coupon, made sure to shop before it expired, specifically chose non-name-brand items, spent about $50, waited through the ridiculous checkout line ONLY to be told the coupon doesn’t apply to any of the items I picked. No explanation that made sense. Just “it won’t work.”
At that point, why even hand these coupons out?
Between the rude employees, endless lines, confusing and misleading coupons, and overall miserable atmosphere, I honestly can’t understand why anyone chooses to shop here anymore. If I didn’t have to come for Amazon returns, I never would.
Avoid this location if you value your time or your patience.
