1 /5 Matthew Reeber: Pretty scammy/scummy business practices, bottom line, feels like I’ve been stolen from.
Dropped off two tables 10/22/25 to be sold on consignment. Returned 12/29/25 to check on items. Was told one of the tables, an antique drop leaf, sold & my cut was about $17. The other table is now theirs because I didn’t come back within 60 days. I came in 7 days after the 60, Christmas and weekend in that time period as well. I take my daughter to drum lessons next door once a week and have stopped in the store a few times and never saw the table that sold on display. Who knows, it’s possible it sold very quickly. The table that did sell should have been priced at $150 minimum, several smaller tables of lesser quality are priced at that amount or higher. The smaller table is still in the store priced around $50….the pricing makes absolutely zero sense. They’re either dishonest or incompetent. The lady in the store said I could email the owner to talk about it but honestly it’s not even worth my time. I have a pretty good idea of how that’s going to go and there isn’t enough value in the fight. To the owners: It’s kind of scammy to not verbalize details like, “your items are forfeited after exactly 60 days”. It’s also going to be 2026 in a couple of days…you have a computer system for tracking, it wouldn’t be hard to trigger emails/calls/texts that go out on day 59 warning of the impending theft that will occur after day 60….you’re probably aware of that though. It’s also a little weird that the button/links on your webpage work except for the “consignment agreement” link….very transparent.
