1 /5 Buddy Grundy: I have visited Catos in fort Oglethorpe for years however I recently moved and decided to try a store closer to my new home. I visited the Dalton Catos yesterday and it was the worst experience I have ever had in any store ever. I arrived when it opened and had a purchase in mind for a pair of jeans I liked. I have lost a lot of weight so when I tried the jeans on in the size I used to wear it was quite clear I would need a size down. The person working asked me if I found what I needed a d I had explained that I wanted the pants in a smaller size. She pointed in the general direction of the corner of the store a said I would find the it over there. A little weird but ok Ill go find them. I spent an hour looking for these jeans all the while there is only 1 other person in this store and. I had asked her for help 2 more times in which she watched me Struggle and continue to point in general corners of the store, but wouldnt actually walk with me to show me what she meant since I have been hunting for an hour. I felt defeated and did not purchase anything that I had waiting for me at the counter except a little t-shirt that I knew fit me. I left upset. I drove 45 minutes north to the fort Oglethorpe store and was welcomed happily. They got me the pants I wanted and I was so grateful for their willingness to help me. I ended up getting quite a bit more then I intended but they were amazing at helping me put things together that I hadnt considered before. The Dalton Catos is quite frankly rude, lazy, and I hate to say it but come off as inconsiderate. The store is not organized and you really cant find anything that they are advertising for on their floor. I will never go back to the Catos in Dalton and I urge whoever manages that store to reevaluate how to assist a customer.
