1 /5 Pam Hansen: I ordered a Franklin sofa and loveseat from Carla. I wanted it in leather which she didnt have in stock so she order it for me. My best friend had an identical couch so I knew what I wanted. I had sat on it many many times. The couch was delivered several weeks later than promised and from the first day I noticed there was something wrong with both the seat cushions and head rest. When seated the cushion squashes down so far that my butt is sitting against a wood bar in the back. The head rests are so over-stuffed that when you lean back the head rest pushes your head down to your chin. After spending a miserable night on these couches I contacted Carla to report the problems. She promised to have a rep come out. After many phone calls and broken promises the rep finally comes with Carlas husband almost 30 days later. The rep determined that there was in fact a problem with the seat cushion and said he would replace it. He also turned the couch over and pulled stuffing out of 3 different zippered compartments. He removed a lot of the headrest stuffing and placed it back into the back sections. It felt much better and made a promise to fix the seat cushions. Shortly after he left I noticed a piece of the stuffing on the floor behind the couch. I investigated and discovered the top zipper which contains all of the headrest stuffing was completely busted. Apparently the factory rep destroyed the zipper when he was messing around back there. So now I have a head rest that has lost all the stuffing and no way to fix it. A new zipper will have to be installed. By this time I was thoroughly disgusted with the whole nightmare. Franklin makes a crappy product. I requested a refund and Carla has absolutely refused. So now I paid almost $4,000 for a pair of leather couches that are falling apart. Bear in mind that I reported the initial problems within two days of receiving the couches. I have pics if anyone would like to see them.
If you decide to buy from Carla keep in mind that she will not refund the money even when she delivers faulty products. Thats 4 grand folks! Do you really want to waste your money?
