4 /5 Jennifer Dean: Its a fun and exciting adventure for sure. However the prices definitely arent going down. In fact they are only going up. Thats my only complaint. Every year they add something new. This year they already have about 3 new rides they are working on now and that is not including the water park !! It was not open yet when we visited april 2025. During the week is not as busy and lines are not as long of a wait for rides. Here are just a few fun things in the videos. I do recommend buying tickets in advance online and be sure to read everything good before you complete purchase. It will save you money for sure. They have concerts, holiday events, birthday partys, family reunions, catering you event or get together, etc... many options. If you wanna enjoy the water park it usually dont open until May for the summer.
3 /5 Jessica Gossett: This theme park is good for a cheap alternative to Disney and Universal. It was constructed a long time ago so the wear and tear/rust/paint chipping and fading is very obvious. The safety of the rides wasnt an issue, but the park & rides looked beat up. The concession stands had a very foul odor and needed sanitized. We went on a school field trip. The kids had fun. As 5th graders, most of the rides were appropriate and not too scary. Big bummer is that the water rides and water park are only open Saturdays and Sundays. It was very hot with very little shade while waiting for rides. I would recommend installing fans & misters in all the ride lines. The lunch was chicken tenders & hot dogs. Very mediocre, but you get what you pay for. One plus was the cute animals. The train ride was a nice break, but it smelled strongly of animal urine.
5 /5 Heather Jacobs: We had a great time at Wild Adventures! Their campground was super nice! The staff were all very accommodating. Christopher went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. Campground was super clean as were bath houses, and all common areas. Loved having a "private" entrance into the park! Justin in guest services was such a a good sport when we upgraded our daily tickets to gold passes! He was super friendly and a great guy! We will clearly be back to enjoy all that Wild Adventures had to offer!!
5 /5 Ashley Thomas: Although I only live a couple of hours away, I had never visited this park. One of my children had an end of the year field trip here. I believe the park was only open to school children on this particular day, and the water park and water attractions were not open. This wasnt a big deal for me or my kiddo. I was really impressed with the smaller details that others might overlook. The staff were all very well dressed- no sloppy untucked shirts. The staff were also very friendly. We encountered a large downpour during the beginning of our trip, and the staff went to work right away after the rain subsided. They were drying off rides and pushing the deluge of water that had gathered in walkways into drains. The bathrooms were extremely clean. The park was extremely clean. I had really expected it to look run down, but was pleasantly surprised at how updated it was. The animals were all very well cared for. They had names, their enclosures were clean, and they all had fresh food- honestly much better conditions than Ive seen at a lot of zoos. There were not as many rides as I anticipated, but we had a lot of fun riding rides multiple times with minimal or no wait times. My child wants to go back to do the water activities, which looked fun also. There were times when they had snakes out to touch, which was also fun for my kiddo.
4 /5 Jimmy Knight: We went for a company event . Decent parking for an extra 15.00 Did not take long to get into the park at the entrance which was nice compared to other amusement parks! It is like six flags + zoo They had a handful of rides not in operation but still had lots to ride we had a blast plus got to see the animals. Kids like the dinosaurs they have! Bird exhibit was cool feeding the birds having them land on you ! Food was good ! Water park was a blast for the whole family! Overall we had a blast and will probably be back ! Plus the on site camping might be fun next to the animals!

  • Jim-Ree African American Museum - Elberton
Yu Gu: This museum is a gem among gems. We got a tour with Jimmy White. What a great way to learn about African American history through a rich and storied local lens. This family-run museum is doing the important work of preservation and education. Visits are currently by appointment only through their website, but hopefully the museum will expand their hours and activities as we move through the pandemic. A must-visit!

    Bryant Commons Park
A Jo: Nice, easy, flat trail with a nice view of the lake from every angle. This is the perfect place to bring family, as a couple, or solo to get outside and feel like youre away from town. Its like an oasis in the middle of Hinesville. I wish people would be more considerate and not throw trash into the lake. But all in all, this place is well maintained, safe, and beautiful. The bathrooms are well kept as well.

    Jack Hill State Park
Crystal Glidwell: Got married recently at the "group shelter." It was an amazing & beautiful building & area! Inside is a full kitchen with trash cans & bathrooms. Has a nice back deck area. Surrounded by forest & a river or lake. The playground was near. Not only did i get married here, but I also had my reception there! The price was amazing for what you get here! I recommend this park! Has cabins, camping, rv, and more!
Blue ridge pier - Blue Ridge
Amy Sullins: I wouldnt call this a pier. Signs up not to enter or get towed. Were from out of town and just wanted to look at the water. Not very eye appealing either.

    Haunted Blue Ridge Ghost Tours
rynthia mccoy: We are huge fans of haunted walking tours when we visit towns as it is a fun way to learn the local history. This one did not disappoint. We were in a small group so we were able to interact more with our guide. Her knowledge of legends and tales of Blue Ridge was informative and her sense of humor engaging. We recommend you add this to your plans when you visit quaint downtown Blue Ridge, GA.

jimer616: Such a fun experience at Escape Blue Ridge! We did the Bigfoot escape room and had an absolute blast. The room was creative, well-designed, and full of clever puzzles that kept us on our toes. The theme was fun and immersive—perfect for all ages. The staff was amazing—super friendly and helpful. They had great timing and knew exactly when to give us a hint without giving too much away. You can tell they really care about making sure everyone has a great time. If you’re in the area and looking for something exciting to do, definitely check this place out. Can’t wait to try another room next time we’re in town!
