Christy Dagsaan: Beautiful spot on Hwy 190 up Pine Mountain. Please bear in mind that the sun’s location changes with each season but still, this place is definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. I came up for sunset views but the whole vibe is meditative.

Joe Barron: Great old relics that can make you appreciate the past. Well done in displaying the artifacts. The jail is super. The safe is so cool. If you are here to see it and it is free too. GOD loves you.

Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center
Rachael Villalobos: Google maps will take you the wrong way, just follow the internal signs around the park. Inside the conservatory it is very warm (tropical climate), butterflies were half asleep/half active at 4pm. Hours on the doors say 10-7. Bathrooms are available and also a gift shop. Plenty of benches to sit for photo ops.

Doug Wallen: We attended the Gardens Winter extravaganza, Fantasy in Lights. What an amazing spectacle. Our tickets were for the 6 PM boarding of the open air trolley. After a short wait, we were seated. My wife brought jackets, sweatshirts and a blanket. It was a chilly 35°. The ride was exciting with many holiday scenes and recreations of classic Christmas activities. A wonderful trip and a fantastic presentation.

Callaway Brothers Azalea Bowl -
Callaway Brothers Azalea Bowl
Bobby Wood: Nestled inside Callaway Gardens one of the best places to visit is the Callaway Brothers Azalea Bowl. This unique walking path takes you around the park area to just show you how beautiful nature really is. This is a perfect spot to take the time to turn your phones on silent, grab the family and just walk in the peaceful splendor of all the Azalea’s and other plants that are on the trail. Then once you have experienced it with no distractions, grab that phone or camera because there are so many great spots for picture taking!
Dino Village - Pine Mountain
Dino Village
anderacpharmd: This place is GREAT particularly for parents of young children (ages 3 to 8). The area’s size is just right-not too large not too small. The parents can relax at tables beneath umbrellas as watch their kids play. The area is well enclosed by a large fence offering an additional layer of protection from young kids wandering off. The models are stationary but move their necks, tails, and make sounds. There is also a large courtyard/patio with tricycles/vehicles/little tyke cars for kids of all ages to ride-plenty of activity. Sprinklers spray on the kids riding the trykes to keep them cool. Also a large sandbox where kids can dig and search for fossils. Plenty of picnic tables with shade-they are not yet serving food but great picnic areas and you can bring food to the park. Entrance to the park is through the gift shop.
Callaway Fantasy in Lights - Pine Mountain
Callaway Fantasy in Lights
Steve S: We went on a Sunday Night to see the lights. There was medium size crowd of people. Weather was clear and temperature high40’s. We took the trolley and sat in the front seat of the trolley. The plastic front on the trolley kept you much warmer and shielded the wind, but decreased the view. The lights and music was as good as ever. We also let the grandkids play on the playground, play free putt putt golf, and did some souvenir shopping. We did find discount tickets. They were about $90 including junk fees for 4 people.
