The National Infantry Museum - Columbus (GA)

5 /5 April Vinyard: My mom and I stopped by for a "quick museum visit" and, this was anything BUT that. But, in a good way!! We spent 5 hours there and, still never saw everything. The place is massive, but, thorough!! My mom needs a scooter and, all of the exhibits were easy for her to navigate. A great place to visit!!! I definitely want to make a return visit so I can experience the rest of what it has to offer.

5 /5 Deven Abbott: My second time visiting my first was in 2017. Both times fantastic and hands down the best free museum in the entire country. The attention to detail is incredible and the pieces on display are really fascinating. Happy to have carved time out of our trip to fit this in again.

5 /5 Ricardo Cortez: After our sons graduation ceremony from The Infantry Basic Training, we stayed back for the museum visit. The museum is full of history and it has more details than I expected. Would definitely visit again. Too much to see in such short time. We had a big group, but just the attention to detail was amazing.

The museum does a fantastic job of honoring the sacrifices and stories of soldiers, with lifelike replicas, authentic artifacts, and personal accounts. It’s educational, emotional, and respectful—a must-visit for anyone interested in military history or looking to gain a deeper appreciation for the men and women who serve.
