Kyle Robinson: It was beautiful worth the drive, our kids really loved how the lights went with the music. Definitely recommend to anyone that is out looking for Christmas displays and lights.
HJ Cox: This is a stunning and beautiful park. It has scenic trails, and there are rocks scattered throughout the area. A stream flows gently over the rocks, creating a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. Many people enjoy playing in the water or simply relaxing by the creek. In other parts of the park, groups of people gather to have picnics, walk, run, or ride bikes. Its a perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature.
However, I did have one unpleasant experience. I have a pit bull, and unfortunately, my dog was attacked by another off-leash pit bull. My dog’s mouth area was slightly torn. I believe better management and enforcement regarding off-leash dogs is needed in this park.
Greg Kimball: I took a nice long walk after breakfast and went by 1000 Bay Avenue, Columbus, Georgia..The Riverwalk is a very nice, well kept, clean, and safe walk along the Flint River. I believe its a 22 mile.trail. I might have walked 2.of.those miles. It looks like a great place for a family to spend some nice time walking, laying on the childrens playground and then going into the splash pad. Then, after playing,.many food.optioms are very close by.
The Nutsheller: Seems haunted there is weird energy around the building would love to investigate the inside of it. Im a medium so I would like to try and contact the spirit of Mrs Rankin. She is known for being a friendly spirit.
Eric S.: Certainly a unique place. Eddie Owens Martin singlehandedly changed that property into a something uncommon. Its relatively small being a house plus a couple other buildings on a 7 acre lot. There is quite a bit of his work inside the buildings too. When I visited, it appeared small upkeep, restoration/maintenance were happening as well as preparations for an upcoming event or gala. The place is free to visit, but encourages donations. Pending how thoroughly you peruse throughout the property, itll take about 30 minutes to an hour. The colors, patterns, and detail are quite impressive. Worth a visit at least once.
Wendy Baxter: Still one of the best parks in Columbus. My daughter lives close enough so that I can let the boys ride bikes while I walk yo the playground. The playground is kept clean by the city. Someone has added a little library there so we have donated many books, and read a few there at the park. Great place for picnic and family get-togethers.
Mia Montgomery: Its a pretty nice pool, they have two pools seperated by a walk way between the kiddie pool and the adult pool. Two diving boards, a play ground and even a slide. Pretty cheap all around with concessions..
