Providence Spring - (GA)

5 /5 Lucas ルーカス: This is a super nice spring, right off the exit road. The marble makes it stand out, and its great for photos. Dont drink the water, though, because it is not drinkable.

5 /5 Chloe M.: This is a really nice place! There is soo much interesting history right here! The spring was erected here in 1901 and is a historical place here in Andersonville. The Union soldiers who were prisoned here had no water here, but the contaminated spring, so one day, a fresh water spring burst here and everyone came over and drank the fresh water. It was caused by a thunderstorm. Anyway, a really nice place to hang out here in the old historical prison.

4 /5 William Michael: The history behind the construction of the spring house, and the origins of the spring itself is fascinating. The POWs endured horrid conditions.
