Novo Nails And Spa - Locust Grove Lorette: I went to Novo salon yesterday on my way to visit family for the holidays. I told the nail tech multiple that I had one broken nail, so I just wanted a tip on that one. She told me that it would look better if she put tips on all the nails. I said okay but my other nails are already the length I want. She went ahead and put the tips on, and my nails are much longer than what I wanted. I work at a doctors office and I can’t have nails this long. She used acrylic on top of the tips. I did not want acrylic and I know you can get tips done on gel nails without doing this. I did not want to argue with her because she already didn’t listen to me about the tips, and I just hoped it would look good. It did not, as she did not shave down the acrylic enough. My nails are thick, long, and uncomfortable. They aren’t even the same length. You can see how thick they are in the picture. They weren’t even filed properly after the gel; there are little bits of gel that poke out of my nail on the side. I left hurriedly because I was upset and was hoping I would just be able to get used to them, but I cannot and they are too long for work. Unfortunately am not from the area, but if I would drive back to have them re-done. I will have to go to another salon today to have them fixed.
