brucemc777: Very picturesque park with fishing from the dam abutment, beautiful views in either direction. Just would be nicer if they could repair the hurricane damage and keep the restrooms CLEAN.

Alan: This used to be a really nice garden when the waterfall had water. Now, its become a pocket of dilapidation and sadness.

Anyia Crumpton: If you’re looking for a fun place on a hot day this is your spot. Even if it’s not hot and you just wanna feel the breeze this is your place. Dayon the owner of this establishment was amazing. He made me and my family feel safe in the water noting that safety is his top priority. It was our first time riding. He guided us on this beautiful tour on the Savannah River and we got to freely ride and learn history about our location. We even got to stop by this beautiful waterfall and take pictures. Everything you need to feel safe and prepared out there in the water, it’s here!! I had a ball and the time of my life. I definitely will be coming back. Money well spent!

Chevelle Hickman: I love this trail for running, walking, just getting outside in general. Plenty of space for people who understand it’s a shared space. I go in from the Sav Rapids bc I am more afraid of the bridge on the other side. Plenty of bike riders and place to rent bikes. I saw a little snake one day. Yikes lol. It’s hikers out there. I love to look at the plants and flowers as well. I have only went 4 miles into the trail. I hate that some people leave bags of poop on the trail but it’s the people not the trail. It smells a little rank of dog pee at the entrance sometimes too BUT again it’s not bad and it’s people and dogs Not the trail. It’s a 22 min drive from me but so worth it. Great for sunny days when I want to workout outside and have some shade. I see kayakers on the water and it’s a place to rent kayaks. It’s just a great spot for outdoor activity. It’s a playground out there at the rapids too. The path is mainly dirt with a few asphalt areas from the previous structures and structures to create the space. Animals MUST be leashed. Consideration of others is expected in this public space. Plenty of parking. Bridge is wide enough for a wheelchair just don’t remember if the little lip on it is smooth or raised. I recommend it any time of day it’s open and go with friends for an even better experience. Access to fishing, bathrooms and other things you might need before entering the trail. Plenty of parking. Take the kids to burn energy and enjoy nature.

David Martin: I had the opportunity to experience this park for a wedding of two special people. The backdrop made it ideal, and the staff closed off the area for it to remain private. I recommend this as a place for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Atif Muhammad: Clean, off the main hwy so easy to get to... Basketball courts, playground and walking paths... But the best part is the snaking, 2.5 mile jogging/biking trail that leads into Old Town Conyers where they actively film TV shows and movies. Such a great experience to start off on the trail through the woods to end up in such a whimsical and cool place where you can shop, chill out and eat at the restaurants that line the block. Awesome experience, ESPECIALLY the first time around.

Diana Frederick: Note that the park is mainly about fishing. But to our surprise, it also has the Georgia Veterans Memorial and the Walk of Heroes. That was a moving site. Only electric motors are allowed on the lake. There is a nice kayak/canoe launching bench near the boat launch, accessible to handicapped individuals, or really anyone who needs a little help to get into and out of their kayak. We tried to find the trail to the nearby covered bridge, but found no sign indicating a trail head.
