Brad: Nice trails, lots of public tennis courts check online for activities and stuff before trying to play tennis though, it can’t get booked in pretty crowded during tournaments and such. There’s a nice wetlands trail that goes the whole way to Halycon. It’s not much of a grade, but it’s slightly uphill from cumming to there so starting from cumming is a good place if your bike riding it’s mostly downhill on the way back.
There is a nice skate and bike park there as well
Got to see several deer along the trail as well
prathyusha patel bandari: We visited West Bank Park today and really liked it! There’s ample parking space and beautiful scenic views all around. You can get into the water for a swim, and there are areas where you can set up a camp, cook, and enjoy a nice meal outdoors. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay long due to rain, but we’re definitely planning to come back soon—this time with better prep and more time to explore!
Srinivas Komma: Windermere Park offers a peaceful, well-maintained environment with beautiful walking trail. The playground is great for kids. Additionally, there’s a separate area for dogs, which is perfect for pet owners. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing or a leisurely walk, making it a lovely escape from the bustle of daily life. A wonderful place for all ages!
H O: Main attraction of park is boat launching spot. Park offers nice views, nature watching, trails for hiking, picnic tables. It is very close to downtown Cumming.
William Lomasney: I was there to visit..
I was driving by at daybreak and 30 Hindu men were there in the sand at volleyball net. I couldnt help but laugh. Game on anyone?
Rachel Holbert Jones: Overall, this is a nice park. Good place to walk and exercise but if you go more than a time or two and stay more than 5 minutes (even a senior female) the neighbor across the street from the park will report you to police as being a threat. Then the police want to know why youre in the park. This isnt my cup of tea.
Michael Richardson: I bought my tickets online and there was less than a 7 minute wait to enter the absolutely fantastic gardens featuring the new "Alice In Wonderland" exhibit. I walked the exhibits for hours and enjoyed every single minute of it. The only thing comparable to the beauty of the botanics were the ladies from all over the world enjoying the same exhibits. Plenty of resting spots as well as water filling stations and restroom facilities.
Nook H: The World of Coca-Cola is worth a visit — especially if you’re a fan of the brand or just love fizzy drinks. The experience starts off strong with a short film that’s all about joy and connection, followed by a self-guided journey through Coca-Cola’s colorful world.
The exhibits are a mix of history, branding, and pop culture. The vault with the secret formula is cool (though more gimmicky than revealing), and the vintage Coca-Cola ads and memorabilia are fun to browse through. One of the highlights is definitely the tasting room, where you can sample over 100 different beverages from around the world — some delicious, others… not so much (looking at you, Beverly from Italy!).
The interactive parts are great for kids, but adults can enjoy it too. The museum does get busy, especially on weekends and holidays, so try to go earlier in the day if you want to avoid the crowd.
Overall, it’s a fun and unique experience. It’s not an all-day event — maybe 1.5 to 2 hours tops — but it’s definitely a solid stop if you’re exploring downtown Atlanta or visiting nearby attractions like the Georgia Aquarium or Centennial Olympic Park.
