1 /5 Bill Jones: Neil had my Saleen mustang for 1 month to correct the paint he improperly applied the first time to window louvers and started peeling off after a month because it was applied to smooth plastic without scuffing or applying a paint primer. He was supposed to remove the side windows, clean out the rust, & reseat them. He instead used a caulk causing the issue in the pictures. While Neil had my car he thought it was ok to drive it around until it was nearly out of gas! One of my pastors kids remarked how fast the car was when he saw it at church, stating Neil took him on a fast ride while at his shop! He then charged $200 to REDO the paint that wasnt done right the first time, and pull & recaulk 2 small side windows. My car sat for 3 weeks before it was started on, and he had it for over a month for minor work! This is the last time we will use Neils Auto!
Update 4-15-17: After only 7mths one of the window louvers fell off exposing the HORRIBLE work they did pulling & recaulking the window! The urethane sealant was allowed to squirt out around the window showing they used the urethane instead of 3m tape to apply the louvre which is why it fell off per a window guy I spoke to recently. To get this fixed right: The windows will have to be pulled (AGAIN), seals & panels sanded to get urethane gasket sealant off, and quater panels repainted per another body shop! After his treatment the last 2 times, I wouldnt let him touch my car again!
Update 11-11-23: I sent Neil a message 2 weeks ago offering to let him have a professional body shop fix my windows & repaint the area that his poor side window repair destroyed the surrounding area in return for an updated review. As expected, no response from the so called “Christian” business owner!
