Everything is still a work in progress but we enjoyed renting a golf cart ($20 for a half day) , exploring McFadden Nature Center, and seeing all the wildlife. We can’t wait to see what more will be added and will definitely be back for another visit soon!

1 /5 A Perkinson: A trail I cant walk my dog with me on is pointless. Theyre fear of gators seems silly compared to the number of gators in florida you encounter on trails you can take your hiking companion and adventure partner on.

Patience Franklin: This is an amazing place to just sit by the fountain and enjoy the beautiful weather! Its VERY well maintained and is beautiful all year long. Great place to take pictures, too! We absolutely LOVE going here.

Kristi Blanchard: A must see for anyone who loves military history and the Band of Brothers. Great volunteers! Love the museum, plane and new barracks. Make time to do the 3 miles up and 3 down trail too.

Frankie Painter: This place is amazing! I went here on my birthday to drink some wine and listen to live music and it did not disappoint! The wine was delicious, the music was great and the atmosphere was lively. They do not serve food, but encourage you to bring your own, so I did see people with charcuterie boards and various other snacks on the table. There is seating inside and outside, and I am looking forward to the summer when I can sit outside comfortably. There are several swings that face the sunset and mountains, which was incredible!

Henderson Falls Park - Toccoa

Brian Leohner: Awesome community park with cute little waterfall and stream and covered bridge. My kids love playing the stream here, looking for rocks and critters. Has a playground, picnic area, and and amphitheater too.

Travelers Rest State Historic Site - Toccoa

TruBluBlondie: Highly suggest to tour and film. It was very informative. The gentleman that we had was full of information and well versed. It was a great feeling to step back in time for a moment. Artifacts very well preserves.

Kyle Stokes: Beautiful and worth the 5 minute beautiful nature walk. Follows a beautiful creek up to the Falls. Plenty of rest spots that are well shaded for trekkers with disabilities to share in this wonder of nature. Read the History of the Area!!! Great Gift Shop for memory keeping your visit to the Falls!

Tugaloo Bend Park - Toccoa

Brian Schuster: Very cool historic site. Several ( level ) trails that travel thru Cherokee and Creek Indian villages ( remnants long gone ) Its a fun look at local history and its also free ! Nice pavilion and clean bathrooms near the parking area. WARNING : Some trails pass thru rather " buggy" areas and mosquito spray is a must.
