5 /5 09newprof: Travelling thru town, stayed overnite and went to the early service on a rainy Sunday. Wonderful traditional service and the people were very welcoming. Good music and a sermon with a little humor mixed into the message. I loved it!!

5 /5 Wayne Dowdy: Church graciously shares a part of its building to allow Twelve Step meetings during non-church hours. A beautiful building with nice people conducting its affairs!

5 /5 Dannielle Wood Hixson: Traditional Methodist services with traditional music, including hymnals and a real choir. Quarterly music program also includes bell choir, McFirst Band, youth, & children. Warm welcoming people. Very active childrens and youth programs.

4 /5 william mathis: Beautiful Church in downtown area of McDonough. Went to a wedding and reception their. Large reception area and plenty of parking both in a lot and on street.

5 /5 D Walden Whatley: Imediately upon visiting this church, I felt welcomed into the church. The people are very caring, loving people studying Gods message from the Bible. The pastor, Rick Maeser, & his wife, Nell, are heartwarming, gentle, spiritual leaders & Godly people. John & Ann Keesey are fabulous music directors of the Chancel, Sanctuary, childrens choirs, bell choir, organists, & pianists. The music program is exceptional. The McDonough 1st UMC Academy is under the direction of Amy May. The students have quality education plus Bible studies. Kelsey Gay is a dynamic Youth Director. She is very involved in youth programs, trips, Bible studies, & adventurous activities. The UMM & UMW are involved in service missions both locally & globally. All are invited to attend Womens Circles, Mens groups, & Bible studies. I love this prayerful church family!
