The permanent crown came back earlier than expected, which was nice! I had it put in this morning - easy and quick! Excellent job to the whole office. My husband and I have been coming here for years and we’re very happy with their service (with a smile!) Dr. D is great!!!

I also heard her asking one of her employees about one of their family members going through a health battle. That showed me that she truly cares about her employees as well as her patients! There was a lot of work to be done with me, but we laid out a game plan and got to work. Now we’re near the end of our “to do” list and I’m very thankful for them. No matter what needs to be done- they never leave your side, they’re always checking in on you, and it’s always a comfortable environment. As someone who has never looked forward to visiting the dentist, I never dread visiting Dr. D & her staff. I highly recommend!

The professionalism, expertise, and courtesy you will find from front desk (Elana) to hygienist (Carrie and others) to Dr. Detienne herself is second to none. Life in the 21st century is complicated. Appointments and communication in our healthcare space can be frustrating OR they can be a breeze--if you are a patient here.

I was pleased with the service received by all the associates at this office and will recommend this practice to all my friends and family looking for a dentist. The Dentist was great and if you have to go to a dentist she is great. The hygienist was great also. After using this service for over a year now I still find the Dentist and her staff excellent and a pleasure to do business with, that says a lot when it comes to a dental service. The Dentist and all her staff are steal great. If you need a dentist I would highly recommend you choose Marie and her staff.

K Dawn Bloodworth: After numerous phone calls in trying to find a dentist that would treat an infected, failing tooth with a crown and root canal, I called. Dr Downeys office. They agreed to see me, giving me enough time to drive from Blairsville. Dr. Downey didnt want to extract the tooth afraid it would break off due to the 40 year old root canal. Not only did he get me into an oral surgeon,he made the phone call himself! Only a caring person/doctor does that. Everyone of his staff was friendly, kind and professional. I will drive the the 60 miles and make Dr. Downey my regular dentist.

Roxann Reeves: I have went to get new dentures made a total of 7 times. Tonya told me you should never half to use an adhesive on upper, and just 3 dots on your bottom. Well I half to use more adhesive with the dentures yall made, than the ones Affordable Dentures made. I called today to try to get this took care of no response. 05/09/2025. I paid you $1600.00 dollars for dentures, that, doesnt stay in my mouth. I will never walk in your office again, and definitely will not refer you. You should give me my money back, but I know that want happen. Think about it folks and do research before you try to use local businesses. This time I definitely made a bad decision.

Mark Hatch: Disappointed I had appointments to replace a crown and the entire time Dr. Polk was coming in and out of the room; 5 minutes once, over 10 minutes once and almost 15 minutes once. I understand you need to check after the hygienist has cleaned their teeth, but give me a break. My hygienist today was very polite, going there for years, never had an issues with her until today. She defended his actions, lets make it clear undoubtably I did not have an appointment to replace a crown and I am done with Family Dentistry. Have a nice day.
